The property is really unique, not many rooms but very nice boutique hotel. The check in was really professional, got a very nice welcome drinks. The service was really excellent, beyond the expectations!! The staff at the bar and the restaurant were really friendly and professional.

Hotel was exceptional. From first arrival the reception was perfect, a kind welcome drink and easy parking for us. The tour of the hotel to start was nice, very interesting building, and the room was very comfortable - the most comfortable bed on our whole trip. Nice gym and sauna, perfect for relaxing after our drive. The staff helped us arrange a nice dinner in the town and recommended both bars and restaurants for us.

“Lovely short stay in a comfortable prison :)”

Brief one night stay on a road trip; my third stay in a prison hotel (two in UK) and it matches those I have stayed in in Oxford and Bodmin. Great comfy room, seating area, comfy bed, good shower. Breakfast was good. Parking was secure at 10 euros per night. Roermond Designer Outlet was 10 minutes by foot, the city itself was also pleasant and attractive.

A hotel with an interesting concept, very clean, the room was nice with enough light, coffee machine, delicious breakfast. The staff is very friendly, accommodating all your needs. There is a parking as well. Excellent location.

“Nice hotel for a business stay or to checkout Roermond and surrounding area”

Very nice hotel close to the city centre of Roermond. The hotel used to be the local prison, which was rebuild into a hotel. They did a very nice job in respecting the old building. The rooms are build in and divided over multiple "old" cells. Clean and large rooms with a good bed, bathroom and work area. Friendly staff. The restaurant is supposed to be very good but it was completely booked for the evening. Bar is good and a nice outside sitting area. Did not use the breakfast. Parking next to the hotel.
