“Quaint, rustic…..but a hidden gem! Would stay again without hesitation!”

The location was stunning! Nestled in a quiet, tree lined ravine and extremely peaceful. Nothing but birds singing! The hotel was more “rustic and charming” but made all the better for it! Just what I was after for a one night stop and offered the security of parking for motorcycles that I was after!

Very cute little pension in a charming location. Very quiet and private, great to relax! Very nice breakfast with a lot of options. Be aware that there is no dinner option in the pension, so eat before arriving if you come on foot! :)

Location in the forest . A large comfortable bed and a good bathroom . The breakfast was copious and our little dog was free of charge

“Final Tour 2025”

I stayed near Buillion and this was on the way. A very quaint hotel offering a bed and breakfast. Just off the main road (a downside because you can't walk anywhere - no pedestrian access - just a fast main road). The room was okay a bit dated (sadly the sheets were not the cleanest) , the shower room was quite dated to be honest and the outlook onto bushes. Parking was secure, they had a garage but didn't encourage me to do it so I parked the bike outside. The curtains didn't close (because of the fire escape sign in the room). Breakfast was fine with a good selection of meats and pastries, bread and plenty of tea and coffee on offer. It was manageable to be honest, would I go there again, yes if my intention was to stay in the hotel but sometimes a bike rider wants to park the bike up and have a walk to the local towns. It is my fault about the location I knew what I was doing and how far away it was. No issues the host was fine (didn't understand English) but it was fine for a dash and then go.

A beautiful building in a lovely setting. The host was welcoming, the room was large, comfy bed and the shower was great. The hotel is perhaps a little past it's 'heyday', but the host is doing a great job of keeping it running and I thought it was EXCEPTIONAL value for money. The restaurant was not operating (not sure if this is a permanent, or just because I was a little off season), but there is a wealth of choice of places to eat just a few minutes drive away. On my return I had a very nice carafe of red wine for 6 euros in the bar area and chatted to some other guests. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations and overall I had a very positive experience.

A quiet and pleasant living environment. Although the hostess doesn’t speak English, she was very sincere and did her best to help us with all kinds of issues. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious.

The location is peaceful and in a very beautiful area. The bar is well stocked.

Great breakfast. Good beds (but pillows need replacing). Lovely building, typical Ardennois. Old building that comes with its typical up/downsides. Very quiet area. Host is friendly albeit somewhat distant. Great surroundings, a good basis for the fantastic walks in the area. Modern little bathroom in our room. But - and this was a first - the shower water actually remained slightly too hot, even on the coldest setting, haha. The sink was clogged.

Lovely host, really great stay in style With it’s surroundings…

Beautiful old hotel, feels like you are stepping into another time. Gives the cozy retro vibes. The garden is quite comfortable and relaxing to sit it, and you can get some drinks while there as well. The location is right next to the road, but on the top floor it was quiet.
