Quiet location and near the Loire river. Two bakeries a convenience store cafe and restaurant etc in walking distance. Very pleasant surroundings, small balcony and use of a nice garden and parking. Tours a bus ride or a one hour walk away along the banks of the Loire. Great places to visit a drive away.

Beautiful, and fascinating location and the hosts were so generous with the fabulous shared garden. Such an interesting house, village and location. Perfect. Cafe Corbon, approx 100 metres away was fantastic as was the boulangerie! Hosts were very friendly, made some brilliant suggestions of local things we might like to do. But we were also very private in our little villa. Rochecorbon is a very pretty and interesting village, with lots of great walks. Super to walk to Vouvray for some wine tasting, then stroll back along the lanes through the many many vineyards! The River Loire, was 3 mins walk away; very beautiful! We were there for 2 weeks and didn't travel further than 30 miles in any direction; so much to see and do locally. And we loved just relaxing at home and in the village. Recommend going to local car boot sales! Great finds and an excellent chance to speak French! Lots of fun and people are so friendly. Recommend Tours and Loches. But so much to enjoy!

We loved the personal touch in every corner. The hosts made us feel better than at home and accommodated us in everything. They informed us of things to do and the best events around, and we will definitely come back.

The location was good. Local shops near by, convenient for visiting by car places like Chateau Chenonceau, Amboise, Villandry, and Tours. Rochecorbon is an interesting place in its own right, with signed Village works, The location is near the river Loire. Went on a Cave Wine Tour, that was 10 minutes walk from the property. A very comfortable, superbly located and well-equipped two-room cottage with a bathroom and a small kitchen. You can find in it everything necessary to feel at home. Very nice Host, who gave us all the necessary information and tips. Beautiful surroundings, the Loire, castles. An excellent place to relax, but also as a base for excursions. I recommend with full conviction. I will try to return again.

“Amazing break in the heart of the Loire”

Stunning location, very well kept but characterful home. We felt really comfortable, and the local facilities were excellent. Hosts super friendly and helpful. There was so much to see and do locally as well, and we'd happily return. The property is right in the heart of the Loire with Tours close by, and both Chinon and Amboise within driving distance as well as a multitude of amazing Chateaus.

“Splendid”

Situated in a restored mill from the 10th century, this has proven to be a perfect location to explore the region around Tours and the Loire valley. The house is big enough for a family of 4 and all the necessary facilities were there. Hygiene is excellent. In term of surroundings, there is a bakery and a small supermarket just around the corner. Moreover, you can walk alongside the river Loire into Tours (+/- 1 hour) and in the village (Rochecorbon) is a flea market on Sundays.

Great location due to proximity to Tours, access to family cycling track and the hosts - Fredrique and Nicholas who went out of their way to make your stay memorable.

Attractive and comfortable accommodation in historic and characterful setting. Close to cycle path alongside river to nearby Tours and within reach of beautiful chateaux and gardens. Peaceful and calm atmosphere and charming hosts.
