Set in front of the Loire River, this 18th-century luxury hotel is partially built into the rock and features a restaurant, a big garden and an outdoor swimming pool. The underground cave works as a meeting room. With stone walls, all of the rooms at the Hotel Les Hautes Roches include a bathroom with bath, hairdryer and separate toilet. They also have a telephone, LCD TV, minibar and safe. A bar is at your disposal on site and during summer time you can relax on the terrace while having a drink. Ideally located for discovering the Loire Castles, Hotel Les Hautes Roches is 19 km from Amboise castle, and 30 km from Chenonceau and Langeais Castles. Tours Train Station is 8 km away. The accommodation has a gourmet restaurant open from Wednesday evening to Sunday evening and for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. a bistro open 7/7 for lunch and dinner

“This was our third stay at the hotel. It was recently redecorated to a very high standard, which made this stay the best”
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Virginie. Our room , which was built into the limestone cliff, was very spacious and clean, in addition to being very interesting. The gastronomic restaurant served excellent food at reasonable prices. Maxim, our sommelier, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

A fantastic experience in staying in a troglodyte room, the views out onto the Loire were also a delight. Marc Bredif is also next door so provides the perfect opportunity for a tour and wine tasting before walking back to our room. We ate at the hotel one evening and the food was excellent, as was the continental breakfast in the morning.
