Fantastic setting in the middle of Roocamadour. It was a lovely room and an extremely friendly hostess. We had a nice bed and a good breakfast.

A tip for arriving by car: do not drive through the narrow archway into the town itself, drive along the valley below the town (Google-Maps tries to take you through the centre of town, when you approach from the North)

“Very convenient and nice flat”

Our host was extremely friendly and welcoming, delivering us our breakfast at an agreed time in the day and restocking the coffee pods when needed. The flat is very well located, right next to the Santuary, on top of the main stairs and has 2 - 3 dedicated parking spaces. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with 2 single beds, and I believe the sofa is a sofa bed. Its was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, with decent pillows too. A small kitchen with one hib burner and mini fridge are available too. Clean bathroom and the shower had very nice pressure, with hot water limited to a 15 minute shower, after that the temperature drops a bit.

Marie communicated with us before we arrived and gave us easy to follow directions. Once there she showed us our room and sitting area and was a delight to meet. She also gave us restaurant suggestions. Each morning Marie delivered an amazing breakfast , tea, coffee, orange juice, yoghurt, fruit, bread , crepes (homemade ! ) and croissants with jam. She is the most friendly and kind host. The location is amazing - right in the center of beautiful Rocamadour and walking distance to everything. Thank you Marie for being such a wonderful host. It was such a pleasure to meet you ❤️

Absolutely stunning location and look from the outside, with lots of character. Hot air balloons passing by early in the morning. Church bells peeling. Amazing breakfast. Great communication from the owner. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Awesome drive up to the property with a narrow archway to carefully pass through. Free parking onsite. Felt like VIP’s.

Our stay could not have been better. Marie made us so welcome and was friendly and helpful. The location is spectacular right next to the Sanctuary. It was very quiet with only the delightful, atmospheric sound of the church bells from time to time. It was much appreciated that we had parking included and this was very convenient. The apartment is beautifully and stylishly decorated and had everything we needed for a very happy stay. Marie brought us a delicious breakfast every morning and could not have been more charming. 100% recommended.

“Magical stay in the legendary heart of Rocamadour”

Les pirondeuax’ is a magical place, right in the legendary heart of Rocamadour. The accommodation sits just below the Parvis des Églises, only a few steps down from the Church Square. There are fine views from the windows and parking is metres away. Our apartment was beautifully clean, comfortable and remained remarkably cool despite the exceptionally hot weather. With comfortable bed, great shower and nice little kitchen to cook meals in, we couldn’t have wanted more. Being close to the sanctuary meant we could wander at night, see the magnificent illuminations, and follow the Way of the Cross up to the Château de Rocamadour at the very top of the cliff. The Grand Escalier, great staircase, leading down to the lower village is at your doorstep as well. There is much to see, and, for a day out in the area, the caves at Padirac Chasm are only a short drive and well worth a visit. But the most unforgettable part of our stay was the kindness of our host, Marie. Marie was fun and delightful. She looked after us so well. She guided us by phone to the gate with our car, was waiting to meet us, took us to our apartment, showed us through, gave us useful information about Rocamadour, its surrounding area and what to see, and brought us breakfast every morning. What marvellous, delicious breakfasts too! Marie, we can’t thank you enough for providing us a wonderful four nights stay. Highly recommend ‘Les pirondeuax’.
