“Michelin standard food made the stay memorable”

The food, both the evening meal and the fabulous breakfast were outstanding and served in a lovely garden. At night it was lit by fairy lights and soft jazz was being played in the background. This aspect would have had full marks.

We really loved our overnight stay here. Jerome was wonderful, a great host. Our room was so tastefully decorated, spacious, quiet (well insulated) and comfortable. And the food - superb! We ate a delicious 3-course dinner outside accompanied by mood lighting and music, and a beautiful bottle of wine. Breakfast was equally as impressive. For a one night stay, it sure packed a punch! A total pleasure.

This was probably the nicest hotel we stayed at in our trip through Europe. When stuck in a traffic jam we phoned ahead and said we would be delayed in arriving. No problem at all and we had a fantastic dinner in their garden restaurant. The food was outstanding and the ambiance very relaxing, and the hosts friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a nicely updated bathroom. Next morning a tasty breakfast and a dog who delights in playing ball.

“Comfy authentic room with wonderful host and delicious food”

This is a beautiful restaurant with rooms. Our room was very quaintly decorated, nice a spacious and very authentic Provencial accommodation. Jerome is a wonderful host, kind and considerate and gave us great recommendations for our time in the region. One of our evenings we dined in the restaurant, door was delicious and service was so professional and friendly.

“A luxury stay at a great price”

Delighted by the secluded courtyard location where I ate some absolutely delicious breakfasts & dinner under the old fig tree. The owners were very welcoming and charming with lots of helpful advice on what to see in the area/ where to eat and what to do in Arles( my ongoing destination). Loved the linen sheets, large bath towels, tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the well-appointed shower with local products… and the huge bed with the most comfortable feather pillows was a real luxury. Although Roaix itself is not very interesting, there are lots of wonderful villages and vineyards very close by and being in a less popular town means less traffic jams!

Our accommodation was very well situated for the exploration of the area. We liked being in the country as it was quiet, peaceful and cool. The actual house is beautiful - there is a wonderful garden where the guests have breakfast and can dine. The restaurant was a definite plus as it was top!

“A delightful oasis near Vaison-la-Romaine”

Tucked in along the main road, La Belle Etoile is a little oasis. The garden is a delight with large shade trees and beautiful flowers. Geraud and Christof are kind and accommodating hosts. The breakfast was a delicious variety each day with inhouse prepared foods. They are also open for lunch and dinner which is a nice option to have had the end of a long day.

Breakfast was excellent, varied and delicious. We loved the homemade cake and fruit juice.
