“Couldn't get in and had to stay elsewhere”
Well this is difficult. We were unable to get in. I had to phone the owner. She subsequently sent me the log from the app running the lock that said the door was open several times. Only it wasn't. We couldn't get in. She says we damaged the lock and the frame and has reported this to Booking com and refused to give us a refund for the unused stay. I didn't really think we could have damaged the lock. These things should be pretty damage proof. Maybe somebody had tried to force an entry before we arrived. I don't really know but we had to stay somewhere else and haven't received a refund.

Location of the property, view outside, availability all necessary things, grocery stores like kiwi, Rema and Europris are next to it. Walking Lanes are good all across the water passage.

“Lovely stay in Rjukan”
Rjukan is a small place, so even if the flat has a central location it's very calm and everything is reachable in the town without using the car. Free parking is a super plus! As the Norwegian summer can be tricky (= cold), having a great functioning heating was also perfect!
