“Make the most of this sort of place as there aren't so many about these days!”
Super traditional hotel/restaurant with charming host Thierry in a magnificent location in the Tarn Valley facing the Chateau de Peyrelade. Unfortunately at the time of our visit due to very unseasonably poor weather - persistent torrential downpours - the enjoyment of our stay was somewhat marred and also led to the hotel and restaurant being very quiet. Nothing the property can do about the weather though! But it must be said Thierry did manage to raise our spirits each evening with some absolutely top class and reasonably priced food, albeit with a fairly narrow choice - understandable due to the limited number of guests/passing trade. Large car park adjacent to the hotel.

Good location. The meal in the restaurant was excellent. Good value for money. The room had a nice terracce. Plenty parking.

Beautiful scenery on the way in, unit behind the hotel, peaceful and easily accessible up stairs from parking area. Communal patio outside door. Lovely big windows with shutters. Clean and well kept. Staff welcoming and friendly even though we were late arriving. Owner also friendly and accommodating. Towels and toiletries provided.

Amazing and very genuine welcome from Charlie which was lovely at the end of a long journey. A very personal service on dinner . Charlie was more than happy to make us a dinner based on our vegetarian requirements and served us produce from his own garden. All was presented beautifully. Breakfast was continental style and a very generous range and quantity of baked goods with good quality preserves .Tea and coffee and juices. Comfy bed and warm room . Very reasonably priced meals and accommodation. Fantastic surroundings and views.

Lovely location with views from our room towards the mountains. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast was very good. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
