“The perfect location for the last night of our Newfoundland road trip.”

The owner waited to meet us and direct us to our cabin. It was on a large expanse of lawn leading to the edge of a river in a section of rapids. We could have hiked a trail along the river to where it meets the sea. The rabbits frolicking on the lawn at sundown were our own special entertainment. The cabin has everything you could need including a gas stove. There is a covered veranda and BBQ which you could enjoy on a summer evening. The beds were extremely comfortable and my daughter enjoyed having a bed and room all to herself.

Great location on side of river with nice walk to the beach through the forest. Very comfortable beds and all that was needed for an overnight stay.

Nice quiet location by the river. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Perfect for an over night stay on the Viking trail.

It was a wonderful quiet clean place to stay. Staff was wonderful and very helpful . Will stay here again . And there was a very nice walking trail along the river to the ocean .

Everything I needed was there. The bed was one of the most comfortable on my roadtrip.

This was a very nice place to stay, comfortable with the expected amenites. Clean, and a nice location overlooking the river where they were fishing for salmon.

Everything! Your house minus a washing machine. Wonderful view of the flowing river out front and a beautiful trail starts just 20 metres away too. It is 1.5km to the beach with lots of treats along the way.

The path from the cabin to the ocean was a beautiful feature. The convenience store was very well stocked.

The property is very private and the sound of the river is very soothing. The location was great coming from the airport and heading to the Viking site. It was about half way.

It was very quite and I loved Just setting and listening to the river. I loved the number of Robins that was on the lawn. It was nice to set and enjoy a mug of coffee.

Great location next to a convenient store and gas station. The chalet is well equipped and comfortable. It is very quiet. The person who greeted us was very kind and gave us all the information needed. We really enjoyed the trail starting next to the house!
