Overview
The Maison des Algues offers cosy and unique accommodation located on the Isle of Rhé. It is 100 metres from the beach and has its own private swimming pool. From April to October, guests can enjoy free use of 2 bicycles per room. This is a great way to visit the beautiful surrounding area, where there is over 100 km of cycle paths. Guest rooms at the Maison des Algues are air-conditioned. They include modern en suite facilities, free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Although the Maison des Algues does not offer a bar or restaurant, near the hotel there are plenty to choose from. Free on-site parking is provided and the swimming pool is heated from April to October. A spa area can be used by guests for free. A charging station for electric cars is available at this property.

“A lovely, peaceful stay with wonderful hosts on a very special island.”
We liked everything about the stay we had there. Our hosts, Jocelyne and Christian, were amazingly helpful, friendly and hospitable, providing lots of information about the area as well as assistance with car hire and transfers. They really made our holiday special. The villages on the island were interesting and very accessible. Each little village had its own quirky cuteness.

Our stay at Maison des Algues was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation is gorgeous, such a comfortable apartment with a lovely outside area with deck chairs, a hammock, pool and jacuzzi, and the location is perfect. The hosts were outstanding, so helpful and kind and welcoming. It was really great using the bikes to cycle around the island too. We’ll definitely be returning!

Great location & easy to walk to the beach. Plenty of bikes to borrow at the property to explore this beautiful island. Fantastic apartment with plenty of indoor & outdoor space overlooking the pool. It was really hot when we were there, the pool & hot tub were an added bonus.

“Marvellous Autumn stay, superb facilities”
Very well appointed, with everything you needed. Beautifully presented, comfortable and the amazing bonus of a heated swimming pool! It was a perfect base for us for our daily exploration of the island by bicycle. The hosts were delightful and made everything very easy for us. Also, the beach was easily reached by walking, meaning we didn’t need to use the car the whole time we were there.
