Place is beautiful, Rafa is an amazing guy and host! Absolutely amazing place with the garden, pool and view. City bikes freely provided make it easy to go down to Riva and back. Would gladly go back again!

Now, after our visit, I'm looking at the pictures of Villa Angelica on booking and I can tell You that it really is that nice as in the photos! Angelica went above our expectations. It's a perfect place to stay while visiting Garda region, close to Riva center (as in description you can takt bikes from the villa for free to make it faster). Host Rafael and his cute dogs are very welcoming and friendly. + Tiramisu prepared daily is delicious - makes chilling by the pool on a beautiful day even better! + Big car parking at the back of villa + Room was equipped fine, compared to other rooms on booking probably the least renovated but it was not a problem + WiFi was ok + As for architectural curiosities: in the garden there is a chapel of San Giacomo and a astounding 'serliana' in memory of Vicenzo Errante that you can eat your breakfast by Thank you Rafael and rest of the crew for a pleasant stay!

“Beautiful garden, but the apartment LAETZIA is not worth the price”

The garden is beautiful as in the pictures. It’s about 15 minutes walk to the center, but you have to climb a bit on your way back. There are free bicycles to use.

The absolute best accommodation I have stayed at for vacation. It is a pearl of Riva del Garda! When booking, I was attracted by the pictures of the yard and territory around the premises, but little did I know we would be staying at what during the late middle ages, around 1360, was the first Paper factory in Trentino and later- the home of the aristocracy. But at the core of this place is the family that owns and runs the hotel- they are the sweetest hosts and will definitely make you feel like you are at home. Shout out to Rafael, who manages the property and Angelica, who we shared some brief, but deep exchanges with. Both of them made us feel safe, happy and at peace at this fantastic location. Me and my mom will never forget the hospitality and our time at the villa. One minus is that you might have zero motivation to go out of the property to see the town and the beach, as the property has everything one needs for vacation- and more! We spent fantastic mornings in the gardens around the villa, read books in the olive garden, chilled at the swimming pool and at every moment felt the tranquility the place offered due to its history and the efforts of many generations of folks who took care of the place. Last, but not least, the villa offers free barbecue station, free sauna, bikes, sparkling water and the swimming pool, amazing views from everywhere and just a short walk from the center. you will not regret staying there! We loved the beautiful, big garden with its views and infrastructure. We had breakfast there every day. Even though there were other guest, we felt intimate and private. The host was very helpful and forthcoming.

“Beautiful property with friendly host”

The property is beautiful with lovely grounds and excellent facilities, like the sauna, table football, table tennis, bikes you can borrow and washing service. Lovely swimming pool too, although more for dipping than being big enough to do lengths. Nice location being a little out of town and the walk or cycle back up isn’t too strenuous. Rafael is a very friendly and helpful host too, we had a wonderful stay and very much enjoyed Lake Garda.

“Beautiful old building by the side of a rushing mountain stream”

A gorgeous old manor house with a olde worlde charm that has been converted into holiday apartments. It is surrounded by a beautifully tended garden with swimming pool and sauna. We received a very warm welcome from our host who was always willing to provide advice and suggestions on how to make most of our stay.

We stayed here with a group of 12 friends & family between 16-20 May. Amazing villa in a beautiful garden with pool and sauna at the feet of the mountains located within a 15 min walk to downtown Riva. The villa has stylish and spacious bedrooms. Rafael is an extremely nice and helpful host, we had no wishes unanswered and his dog Kaja is adorable. Rafael helped us with the bike rentals and we could store and charge the bikes on site. Parking is also available on site and is free of charge.

Amazing Italian villa with a huge and beautiful garden with pool and sauna. Nice, stylish and comfortable rooms. Parking and bike storage available free of charge. Free water with or w/o bubbles available on site. Rafael the owner and his adorable dog was very welcoming and helpful. No wishes stayed unanswered. We were a group of 12 and all were very satisfied with everything. Rafael even helped us with bike rentals and sorted out small issues we had. The villa is located within a 10-12 min healthy walk from the centre of Riva. Absolutely perfect, we would go back any time.

“Friendly hosts in a fantastic location!”

Rafael and Angelica are absolutely perfect hosts. I can’t say enough good things about them. The apartment was absolutely spotless and the grounds are a slice of paradise away from the busy town of Riva. We walked to the centre in around 20 mins, and by car in about five. This location was great for us - close to the mountains and the lake! The icing on the cake for us was how dog friendly the place is. We have a nervous rescue dog and he was very happy with his new dog friends and the security of the gardens! A great stay and we will definitely return.

“Classic Italian Villa with clean and comfortable accomodations in a quiet location yet near Old Town”

The caretaker of the property was a man named Rafael and from the moment we arrived until check out he was extremely friendly, careing and helpful. We were traveling as a larger family with our two dogs and Rafael was accomodating and helpful, he went above and beyond our expectations to be sure we were settled in and everyone was comfortable. The villa is authentic and relaxing, we left feeling refreshed and really enjoyed our stay at Villa Angelica.

“Enjoyable stay in historic villa and garden”

The villa is beautiful and especially the historic garden is spectacular. A truly unique place to stay close to the heart of Riva. The apartment we had was quite large, about 150 m2 if I recall correctly (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, a large living room and kitchen). The villa is 15 minutes on foot from Riva, but there are simple bikes to take you into town. Raffael was always available and helpful. thank you for having us as guests!

It's paradise. You should come and try by yourself. Comfort, awesome atmosphere, clean air and more. We will come back, thanks Rafael and Angelica!
