“If you’re a train enthusiast or if you are not, stay here. Its the perfect overnight stop”
Amazing unique place. Guy and Nadia are railway enthusiasts who bought the former station at Riscle and renovated it into a bed and breakfast stay. The rooms all have a theme of a classic railway line from the Orient Express to Le Train Bleu. The hosts are so welcoming and attentive. In the rooms and in the breakfast room every detail recalls an item from the Great history of European train travel. I absolutely loved my stay here and could not find any fault at all.

“An unexepected and pleasant break from our usual hotel stays”
Continental breakfast served on the former station platform which was surrounded by vegetation. Lovely location and possibility to have a cooked breakfast on demand. The hosts were always available if needed.

“Worth a visit”
This is a quirky place to stay. Lots of train memorabilia to see and beautifully kept. Our room was lovely and our bed was very comfortable. The shutters on the windows helped to keep the room really cool at night. Lovely breakfast. Hosts were so friendly too.

“Perfect place to stay - we will definitely return!”
Avenue de la Gare was one of the nicest places my parents have ever stayed. The buildings were interesting and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My parents said that they want to come back and stay for longer next time!

Lovely and very interesting old station lived in by two very delightful and welcoming people. Everything is perfectly thought out, clean, warm and quiet. The quality of the bedding and comfort of the beds was second to none. Very generous and delicious breakfast eaten in the station’s original waiting room.

Location really peaceful yet close to Riscle centre. Hosts are welcoming, friendly,, helpful and happy to chat but happy to leave you be. Continental breakfast, fresh from the bakery with as much coffee as you want. Comfortable and interesting with railway memorabilia and more. Pool is in a sheltered sunny spot.

Traditional French breakfast, freshly prepared with a variety of breads pastries, juice and coffee. Guy and Nadia were welcoming hosts and we were made to feel at home. Would definitely recommend.
