Overview
Set in its own lemon grove, family-run La Terra Del Mezzo is at the foot of Mount Etna. It features an outdoor swimming pool and restaurant, and is 800 metres from the sea and 2 km south of Riposto. Rooms have an elegant rustic design with handmade Sicilian terracotta floors and many with wood-beamed ceilings. They are all air conditioned and come with an LCD satellite TV, minibar and a private bathroom with toiletries. They all overlook the sea or Mount Etna. Breakfast at La Terra Del Mezzo features cold cuts, homemade cakes, fruit and fresh juices produced on site. The restaurant serves traditional Sicilian dishes at dinner. Guests have free parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Discounts are available for local beach clubs. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

“Best place to start a holiday in Sicily”
Lovely and friendly hosts, they made us feel welcome from the start. Clean apartments with a great pool. The dinners with local dishes and wines were delicious. A great spot from which to explore Sicily.

The family who ran Terra Del Mezzanine were so helpful and accomodating. The location is rural, which was lovely for us as we didn’t want anywhere too touristy/busy. Torre Archirafi was a small town in walking distance but I would recommend a car for getting further afield. The food was outstanding and really good value for money.

Charming countryside experience among lemon and orange trees at the foot of Mount Etna, just a short drive to Catania or Taormina – or simply enjoy the stunning views from the poolside. What truly makes it special is the heart and dedication the host family puts into every detail, along with their carefully crafted authentic menu. A truly excellent choice!

The premises are completed surrounded with Sicilian country side, distant views of Mount Etna and beautiful quite. Our room was very large and always clean. The dinners we had were authentic and amazing. Highly recommended if you want some peace and quite!!

“All in All Great stay”
Breakfast exceptional, location of in the country, but if you are with a car no problem to travel, by walk you can go round the estate but very hard to walk to the seaside or main square

The breakfast was simple but very tasty. The coffee was excellent. The road that belongs to the owners among the lemon trees is wonderful and the view of the Etna was amazing. The room was quiet and the hosts were very nice and helpful.

Absolutely excellent attitude of the owners. Helpfulness, human approach- the owners were helpful when we needed to leave early due to illness.
