“11/10! Absolutely amazing apartment with the friendliest host, located in the cutest small town.”

Everything was absolutely fabulous. The apartment was perfect — spacious, luxurious, historical (the ceiling is gorgeous!!), equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. We really appreciate how quiet it was at night and the bed was very comfortable, we had great sleep there. Also, the apartment has a fascinating history connected to the host’s family, we loved learning about it. There was so much attention to detail, with many thoughtful complementary touches that made the stay feel very special. Giovanni was incredibly helpful and friendly, and came across as such a warm and genuine person — we really enjoyed meeting him and felt so welcome here. The location of the apartment is in the heart of a beautiful authentic small town, which was so refreshing after crowded touristy areas we visited before. Great local food, friendly people, no overcrowding, everything just felt like a real deal. It was a perfect base for exploring Etna and the eastern side of Sicily by car. Honestly, we are so happy we chose to stay here. If I could, I'd give it 11/10. Thank you so much, Giovanni. All the best, and we would absolutely love to come back in the future.

“Impressive”

We had such a great stay in Riposto at Il Capitano Apartments with Giovanni! Everything was perfect — the place is beautiful, full of charm and history, and really well looked after. Giovanni is an amazing host. He pays attention to every little detail — the fridge was full of tasty Italian food, there was great coffee, and honestly, he had thought of everything. We didn’t expect so much, it was a really nice surprise! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and Giovanni was always there to help if we needed anything. You can tell he really cares about his guests. It was honestly one of the best experiences of our whole trip. We felt comfortable, happy, and very well looked after. Highly recommend staying here!

“Best place to be in sicilia”

The facilities (washing machine and cleaning products/ kitchen well equipped) The terrasse The fridge was full or food (jam butter water tea nutella Pepsi yogurt juice...) coffee.... Like in a hotel the host provided towels shampoo shower gel body lotion... The host turned on the AC before we checked in to make sure that the temperature was perfect for us The authentic atmosphere and painting in the walls The host is very helpful and kind. He offered us a gift before leaving. He helped us find a car to rent. The location near the sea and many restaurants around

“Just perfect”

This place was the best place we have stayed in Italy and we have been in Italy for two months. This place is simply amazing and the host is the kindest and most generous person you could possibly have as a host. Amazing host and beautiful house. There is absolutely nothing that is needed for a comfortable stay and Giovanni the host has not provided. The house is a beautiful historic house with painted ceiling and heaps of character. It is located right in the centre and few mins walk to the beach. The place is spotless clean, lovely and comfortable. If you get offered the free foot massage, please note that it would be the best foot massage you could possibly have.

The apartments are located very good just in few steps from the center of Riposto. The apartments has a very interesting history which contents in the description. Also Giovanni the host of apartments gave me more details and information which was really interesting to me. Giovanni probably the best host what I met before in my life:) His hospitality doesn’t have any limits:) A good advice for travelers to coming first at apartments before a supermarket because there are a lot of welcoming staff from Giovanni including some food and drinks. The sea is nearby. I also liked that there are a lot of fish stores at the shore in close distance. Very nice promenade near the sea where you can walk or run to Torre Archirafi and back (approximately 7 km to both sides). So just plan your journey listen Giovanni’s tips and enjoy your stay :)

“Beautiful apartment with outstanding host.”

Very nice and big apartment in historic building with wonderful equipment. Giovanni is an outstanding host with a lot of dedication to his guests and his apartment. We even had some food and drinks for us waiting in the nice kitchen. Giovanni knows the area very well and gave us worthful recomendations. The apartment is centric in Riposto and you can reach everything by foot. E.g. nice and good restauarant Le Botti or beach, harbour, market. If you plan to stay in that region of Sicily you should aks for Giovannis apartment I 2 Capitani!

“Supreme apartment with supreme host”

The apartment is impressive, in Sicilian style, comfortable and clean. It has all the necessary equipment from a coffee machine, a washing machine... There is even a refrigerator full of drinks and basic supplies. Location in the very center. The host is available, very very kind, ready to provide all the necessary help. Riposto is a good choice if you want to visit Catania, Taormina, because it is well connected by train. The warmest recommendation for the apartment and kiss for Giovanni!

The property is charming and very well prepared. It is very clean and everything we needed was provided. The original features in the house were a real surprise. The bed is very comfortable. The property was large and a welcome cool escape from hot weather. Well placed for a short drive to Mt Etna and Taormina. Giovanni is an exceptional host, offering friendly and useful information on local and wider topics. Giovanni is very kind and had the fridge stocked with cold drinks and some local treats which we really enjoyed, he is one of the most helpful and generous hosts we’ve ever met.

Beautiful property in Riposto within walking distance to local beach, bars, restaurants. The host was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and more, a well equipped home perfect for long or short stays.

Everything was super. Super location, super accommodation, and Giovanni is the coolest guy in Sicily.

Absolutely delightful stay, Giovanni was extremely helpful and kind, even gave us a lift to the train station at the end of our stay. Giovanni's apartment is in a central position for Cafes, Restaurants, public transport, and supermarkets, WI-FI download good, all the facilities you would want for a short or long term stay.

Giovanni suprised us with equiped fridge (water, beer, milk, butter) and sth more for Italian breakfast (croissant, nutella, jam, coffee). Very good location in Riposto. Apartment was beautiful and we liked that it has its own history.

Giovanni was perfect guy. He suggested us places to go, where to enjoy local streetfood and have some dinner. At the end of our stay, he accompanied us to the bus station and gave instructions to bus driver, where to stop. 10/10
