Marissa was a lovely warm host who welcomed us with my very limited spanish. The room we had was huge and very clean, and breakfast was plentiful. Marissa made a dinner reservation for us, and nothing was too much trouble.

“Luxury B&B in Riópar.”

Excellent place to use as a base for discovering the Riópar area. We visited on a bank holiday period in December and the village was full...you need to book restaurant meals. There are several restaurants within walking distance, plus a supermarket, and a good pub called Barbol. We recommend eating at La Pulperia. The accommodation is spacious, spectacularly clean, warm and comfortable. You pay extra for breakfast and an evening drink in front of the log fire, if you want. The hostess Marisa was very welcoming.

Breakfast was very good, excellent. All what we needed was provided. This is the first time I felt we had a caring Hostess who took care of us so well. Where to visit and we were given full explanations and detailed maps. They made us feel so at home and we enjoyed their lovely terrace overlooking the beautiful mountains. We felt welcome.

Marisa & Fede were the perfect hosts. They welcomed us into their home & nothing was too much trouble. They upgraded us to a better room than we had booked which was wonderful. The room was huge with a fridge & the bathroom had both a bath & a separate shower Breakfast was freshly made, with lots of options & delicious. The terrace was quiet & relaxing for an afternoon of reading or a siesta. There are a number of bars & restaurants locally within walking distance. We absolutely loved our stay there, would definitely recommend it if you are looking to stay in this area.

The whole short break. From checking in, the standard of the room, and also the high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Marisa showed me around the room, the salon, the terrace, and all public areas of the house. Breakfast, which is not included in the price is a real pleasure, with melon, nuts, pastries, fresh juice, and a tostada of your liking. The approx cost for all of this is around 7 to 8 euros, depending on your choice of tostada. The area is lovely, just a short drive from the river, and waterfall. The town is approx 10 minutes walk, where there is a small selection of restaurants, supermarket etc. The room has a fridge, which is extremely good, to keep drinks cool. I felt very welcome, and quite comfortable, Several great nights sleep in a comfortable bed. The owners are very nice, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Even when I had a problem with my car, Marisa came with me to the local repair garage, and gave me a lift back to the hotel.

Bathroom was amazing. Proper bath in Spain! And nightingales sang outside our room. The terrace is a work of art.
