Locanda Ca’ dei Duxi is set in the centre of Cinque Terre’s first village in a characteristic 15th-century building. Walk to the sea in 5 minutes from here. The Locanda is typically Ligurian in its architecture, featuring stone walls and wooden ceilings. Its history is still visible in many places, including in the breakfast room, which was once a wine cellar where the famous local Sciacchetrà wine was made. The Ca’ dei Duxi offers friendly service in a convenient location. The station is a 5-minute walk, as is the town’s car park. Just step out of your door to find yourself surrounded by the typical sights and sounds of this beautiful little village.

There was no WiFi in the rooms and also it was difficult to get internet connection within the room. So essentially living without a net connection once in the room. Room was too small with no outside view.

“If you are not a hiker, there is not a lot to do except drink in the beauty ..and eat!”
Overall visit/ experience was "mind blowing"! Never having travelled to Europe our expectations were altered but the result was quite acceptable! We enjoyed the daily croissants and lattes at "Old School" on the plaza, a few minutes walk...the view was spectacular! .
