We were very happy with it

Very clean apartment, high up on the hill next to the Church. Thank you to our host for helping with our luggage up the steps. We loved all of the villages in Cinque Terre and staying in Riomaggiore was very special.

“Great apartment”

Spacious apartment, great host, nice location. Riomaggiore is great place to stay. The host met us at train station and accompanied us to the apartment, gave us lots of guidance and codes to use local lifts for free plus discount for cinque Terre cards.

“Very comfortable apartment at an excellent location in Riomaggiore”

Gianluca welcomed us personally at the train station and walked with us to the apartment, which made us feel very welcome. He also provided a lot of information about things in the vicinity of the apartment and was always available for questions. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable ones I've ever had in a hotel / B&B. The location of the apartment was great, just a few minutes walk from train station, Riomaggiore center and the beach. I would gladly stay here again.

“Beautiful Riomaggiore”

The property is spacious and clean. The host met us at the station and arranged taxis to and from the property on check in and check out. He also gave us lots of useful information to help us decide what to do whilst in the area.

Gianluca was extremely helpful during our stay. He helped us with purchasing the Cinque Terre card (don’t purchase before you arrive as you get a discount if staying in Riomaggiore) & train timetables. The apartment was spacious & there was lots of room for our family of 4.

“Lovely little home on the hill”

Absolutely beautiful little house up on the hill. The view was beautiful and the apartment was very cosy and warm on the cooler nights. We loved the design and how old and new were bought together to make this lovely little home. The host was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful with tips of where to eat and passes to get around Cinque Terre. We enjoyed our time in this place very much, our kids want to come back again. Thank you for having us come to stay.

Greeted at the station by kind host and guided to property. Gianlucs gave us useful tips and information about the area. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Good facilities. Sea view.

Great location. Be aware it is down steep stairs so if mobility is an issue this will be a problem. Gianluca was fabulous, picked us up from the station and provided us with some much appreciated local knowledge.

“My holiday took quite a lot of planning but I loved every minute, it was a great experience”

The host was really helpful and sent his assistant to collect me from the rail station. She was also very helpful and ordered a taxi to the apartment and I realised why when I saw the steep hill leading up to the apartment. When I got inside the host Gianluca had kindly left me some cold drinks in the fridge and a delicious container of biscuits, so really appreciated that. The apartment was bright and clean and had most utensils and equipment you'd need in the kitchen, lounge and bathroom. The bathroom only has a shower no bath, not an issue for me. The lounge windows have a 'partial' sea view and also gorgeous views around the hillsides. A bit disappointing not having a terrace to sit out on and chill in the evening but it wasn't a major issue. Lounge and bedroom are a good size with windows and lots of light coming in. There were things I didn't quite feel comfortable with at first, such as the very steep climb back to the apartment each time you went to buy groceries. Going down was also quite strenuous but as I was there to walk it faded away and I didn't think about it too much.. I was informed there was a lift nearby which took you halfway down the hill and I did start to use it more often, 1 euro each way. Once I got settled in and used to the terrain and environment I began to love being at the top of the main part of Riomaggiore, especially when rather large crowds of tourists visited. I liked the vibe and the friendliness of the locals in the shops too.
