Location was quite and view was wonderful

From the moment we arrived, Cinqueterre Residence felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into someone's home. Zidane greeted us with the warmest smile and an energy that set the tone for our entire stay — attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it's the thing we'll remember most. The facilities are wonderful — beautifully appointed rooms, the hot tubs were a dream after long days exploring the villages and walking the cliffside paths, and every detail was thoughtfully done. We came back each evening grateful to have such a peaceful, comfortable place to land. The location is ideal. Riomaggiore is the perfect village to base yourself in, and the residence sits just where you want it — close enough to everything, quiet enough to feel like a retreat. Sunset from the harbor was unforgettable, the focaccia from Revello became a daily ritual, and every train hop to the other four villages began and ended just steps from our door. The Cinque Terre is a place everyone should visit at least once — and if you do, stay here. We left feeling rested, well looked after, and already planning our return. Fabulous location with amazing views. The room was spotless and the staff were so helpful. The hot tub and beautiful terrace provided a much appreciated place to rest and relax after sightseeing and walking.

Accommodation excellent, exactly as described. Staff friendly and efficient. Clean and tidy. Breakfast very good.

This was a wonderful place to be, in Riomaggiore village but set away from the busy port in a peaceful location with a beautiful view. We loved the communal gardens with the flowers, jacuzzus & outdoor lounge area. Breakfasts were wonderful, very substantial & served with a smile from helpful staff. Our kitchen was well equipped & sheets changed whenever we wanted. We would always stay here if we came to Riomaggiore again.

Our 6 dag stay was exactly what we expected. Hospitality was excellent, we felt att home. The facility was clean and well maintained with flowers decorations everywhere. The outdoor relax areas were nice with a panoramic view of the town.

Amazing views! Both the private and communal terrace offered a beautiful place to relax in the sunshine whilst overlooking Riomaggiore. The staff were friendly and welcoming and all seemed genuinely happy to be there. The breakfast gave a good start to the day before a day of exploring! I would highly recommend staying here!

Lovely property, hot tubs are great, views are sensational from the terrace. Staff are really friendly and helpful! Breakfast was lovely and everything tasted fresh. Complimentary Prosecco was a nice touch. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Riomaggiore.

Nice rooms, lovely staff, great breakfast, private, great view, very quiet - we really enjoyed our stay here. You get picked up from the train station which is so good, easy to walk back downhill at the end of your stay. It's a beautiful village to stay in and the walk up and down into the heart of the village is relatively easy. We stayed for four nights and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Do take the time to walk around the village away from the shops/bars etc. There is more to it than you first think.

Each room had its own terrace. There was also a separate breakfast terrace and shared terrace with fantastic views. Breakfast was amazing with local produce. The staff were all fantastic, very welcoming and friendly.

“Idyllic stay in the heart of Riomaggiore”

Amazing accommodation in the heart of Riomaggiore. Breakfast each day was delicious (go early for the best selection) and couldn’t fault the staff. Loved the daily free minibar in room and our private balcony was so idyllic. We also loved the hot tubs in the evening after a long day of climbing steps!
