Amazing stay, totally perfect and absolutely recomendable

The space in the apartment is good. The room was very clean but the kitchen very dirty. The laundry room is really a plus!

Our hosts Jose & his brother Jesus were great. They were very helpful throughout our stay, responsive by WhatsApp for information and help on booking tours & transits to /from airport or bus terminals. Jose's English is really good, so this was helpful when we struggled in Spanish. We stayed 6 nights which was a sufficient amount of time in Riohacha, to see Cabo de la Vela and get a feel for the town. The location was really good, steps away from the beach and near everything needed - grocery store, pharmacy, ATMs, restaurants. We booked the private room with en-suite bathroom, which is a 1 bed apartment with small lounge with sofa and table, which can be used as a desk. The rooms are not overlooked so its private and quiet most of the week bar Saturday, when there is some street noise until late. There is no balcony, but there is a small corner view of the sea from the bedroom window. The bed was large and very comfortable., and the space very generous size, also very comfortable - with a nice large wardrobe to hang and organise our things so we could feel more at home. We appreciated having a small kitchenette with sink and gas hob to make our own coffee in the mornings. A shared fridge is also available in the reception area to use., as is a convenient drinking water refill dispenser. There is also a small hand-wash laundry room with drying line. The AC and Wifi both worked really well, and it was good to have a fan in the living area to help distribute the bedroom AC. Our room was cleaned once during our stay, with fresh towels and the hand/body soap topped up. We appreciated that there was sufficient amount of soap available to use. The property doesn't have hot water showers, but we got used to it, as it was hot in Riohacha in October. We did see one cockroach on our 1st night (which can be common in tropical climates)but Jose dealt with it straightaway and it didn't happen again the rest of our time there.

- Staff was attentive. They kept our large backpacks safe while we went on tour. - Organised a taxi for us to the bus terminal after check out. - Great location. Close to the beach. On Friday night, the beach was lively. Vendors selling artesanal products. Beach bars to chill out.

stayed here twice before and after our trip to La Guajira. the suite was fantastic value for money - lots of space and privacy for a very good price. very comfortable and A/C works really well. definitely recommend to anyone visiting riohacha, great location for exploring the town

Clean, comfortable hostel perfect to have a nice rest. It is also well located close to the beach and different atms. Small light and sockets next to the bed and lockers underneath. Nice kitchen too.

Comfortable dorm beds with privacy thanks to the cubicle. Vey close to the square and the beach, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff. We were able to leave our backpacks here during our tour to the desert.

Jose is an awesome stand up guy. Very helpful, as is his brother Jesus. The hostel is close to the beach, but not so close that the music will keep you up. The rooms are air conditioned, there is a light and plug in each bunk with a blind for privacy. I've been here many times, and will continue coming back. ✌🏼

Price value very good. The staff is very friendly and they helped us so much with our flight. Great location right next to the beach. Kitchen was well equiped and had everything we needed. Free drinking water which gets exchanged perfectly on time.
