Comfortable mattresses. Good breakfast. Close to shops and only 10-15 min walk from the beach, easy to reach for Ubers. From the top floor rooms you can't really hear street noise or any of the other guests. The room felt very private.

Great location between Centro and the beaches, especially the proximity to the metro station and the bus pick up point for Cristo Redentor is perfect! Liked the social areas and the pool with a good breakfast incl.

“Outdated, not so clean hostel”
Villa 25 is located in a nice building with old characteristics, it attracts a very diverse audience and they offer breakfast (although very basic). There is someone at the reception all day and a guard to open the gate at night.

The location is good. Close to many amenities and metro. The gentleman who checked me in and was there to see me leave was helpful when I needed to find an ATM. He was also helpful with tips regarding catching an overnight bus to Ubatuba and made great day trip recommendations. Thank you!! Also, lovely breakfast selection!!

Location is quite central, you have local transport around to move. Breakfast is good, plenty of choices to take.

Villa 25 is a great hostel. The room I stayed in was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is excellent – Largo do Machado metro station is just about a 3-minute walk, which makes it very easy to get anywhere in Rio. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety. Overall, it felt safe, relaxed, and well organized throughout my stay.
