The location is great. Both close to the beach, but also staying in Copacabana is convenient to get around to different tourist areas. We felt safe in the area too. And WiFi worked well.

The receptionist was so helpful and provided information I needed. Although they don't speak English, we used Google translator and everything went well. They kept my bag safely when I checked out, till the evening when I picked it up. Excellent location by the Capacabana beach

“Rio at the Budget, comfort not compromised”
I did the booking on the same day I arrived and all it was hassle free, reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room I got for a solo traveler it was perfect, clean and A/C works perfect. The food selection at breakfast it was just perfect to start the day. The lady who was running the restaurant was lovely.

Fabulous location in a leafy street minutes from the beech with plenty of places to eat and drink. Decent breakfast and reasonably priced. However, there was no fridge in the room, considering Rio is in the tropics and hot, I would expect a fridge to be standard in all hotel rooms there.
