Great location, very safe and amenities close by. Lovely helpful welcoming staff. The room rooms are beautiful and spacious. Really close to the Urca nature trail where you can climb the first ‘loaf’ for free and enjoy a fabulous hike near the praia vermelha. Loved the location and also super safe to enjoy an evening walk along the river.

“Charming boutique hotel under Sugar Loaf Mountain”

The stay was absolutely perfect for us. The room was huge with a wonderful view of Christ The Redeemer. Old masters pictures and period furniture make this hotel quite unique. The location is safe with Sugar Loaf mountain, Urca beach and restaurants all just a couple of minutes walk. Copacabana is a little further away but easily walkable. We used Uber everywhere else. Cheap and reliable. Andreas was the perfect host. So attentive and helpful. Certainly didn’t go hungry at breakfast, served on charming vintage china. Loved it all.

“Perfect Location with Outstanding Service”

The location is incredible. Steps away from the Sugarloaf, with amazing views of Christ the Redeemer and right in front of a police station, which made us feel very safe. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond, assisting with directions, holding our belongings, and accommodating our dietary needs. Already planning my next trip

Great Breakfast! Lovely good soft café. Amazing view on Christ the Redeemer and the lake from terras. Walk in few minutes to Sugerloaf Mountain and (we did dow) Morra da Urca Trail. Perfect location, use Uber to get every where. Kind very friendly helpfull (German) owner, who also works hard together with the others. any ask is possible. Good bed. No street noise. You will like this place for sure :)

The Hotelinho is the place to stay if you want to feel truly welcome. The owner and the staff are very friendly and super helpful. They took great care of me when, unexpectedly, I had some health problems. Not only that, I was also given great advice on what to do/see in Rio. Last but not least, the location is fantastic and the breakfast outstanding.

“A special place to stay”

The view from the terrace is amazing, the location is great, beautiful and very safe (we left our car parked on the street for the 2 nights w/no issues). The pool was perfect for our young children and we enjoyed a lot the upper deck. Breakfast is also nice. Staff are friendly. The place has a very nice vibe.
