“Home from home!”

A lovely Brazilian breakfast, buffet style so you start the day off right! Really lovely staff who made you feel right at home and were super helpful. A nightly bar with caipirinhas and happy hour. A few shower and toilet options so even when the hostel was full, i never found it had an impact. I love the area of Gloria! Easy to get everywhere but has its own vibe and charm and isn't just overran with tourism like the classic Ipanema or Copacabana. Also an azmaing market every Sunday!

“Good hostel to spend a few days”

It is quite a good location close to Santa Teresa and the Gloria metro station which can quickly take you to Centro or to the beaches. The staff is friendly, the caipis at Happy Hour are really nice and the breakfast is also lovely.

The hostel was amazing. Great people, very clean and spacious room, bathroom and common spaces. Perfect place for meeting new people and to travel around city. Delicious breakfasts and a lot of activities. Definitely would come there again!

Excellent location, lots of shops, restaurants, convenience stores, eateries, street food options, groceries etc right next to the hostel. Some of the main tourist attractions are within walking distance. It is also relatively closer to Christ the redeemer statue, accessible via Uber to Paineiras Corcovado for an affordable fare. Other attractions such as Ipanema beach, Copacabana beach, Sugarloaf mountain are all accessible via Uber for an affordable fare. If you are feeling adventurous Uber motorcycle is a much cheaper option to navigate through Rio. Great staff, the ladies at the reception are very helpful and caring. They are super friendly and very attentive. Alessandra and her colleague helped me find a cheaper option to do the Christ the redeemer and Sugarloaf mountain by myself as I was late for the last minute tours. They assisted me for my late night check-in and also checked out the available tours in the late night, all with a great smile. 5 out of stars for the excellent service! The breakfast was excellent. The ladies in the kitchen and the hosts in general are very friendly and always attentive for special needs. The premise are very clean, comfortable beds, great music in the common area in the morning. Highly recommended !
