“Great apartment in a great location, but not our cup of tea”

Great location, with boutiques, restaurants, supermarket next door, one block from the beach. Appartment has everything you need, lots of attention to detail. Friendly host. 24hrs reception.

We stayed for 4 days at Marcella’s place. The apartment is very lovely, decorated in a way that makes you feel at home, with great taste and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It has plenty of space, with a spacious living room, a comfortable bedroom with a good bed, everything well equipped and very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, and Marcella left water, drinks, and some snacks for us, which was a very nice touch. The location of the apartment is ideal, between two subway stations and close to shops and a shopping mall. The beach is just three blocks away, in a very beautiful area. Marcella and Bruno are lovely and very attentive; they were always available and ready to help. We will definitely come back 🩷

“Lovely flat, close to Ipanema Beach”

We had a fantastic stay at BEM Ipanema. The flat was well equipped and was in a perfect location. Marcella and Bruno were excellent hosts and lovely people, staying late to check us in when our flight was delayed and were very helpful with queries and suggestions about our trip to Rio.

Apartment was clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen and washing machine. Marcella and Bruno are lovely people, very helpful, responsive to any requests. The apartment is very secure with friendly people who are on the front desk 24hrs. The location is short walking distance to the beach. Very good supermarket next door, nice restaurants nearby. Would recommend.

“Beautiful apartment, incredible location”

Location was incredible and marcella and Bruno were absolutely lovely. The apartment was incredibly clean and had more than anticipated in terms of extras e.g. Beach umbrella and chairs, extra bedding and beach towels. There was also a huge array of kitchen items. The building is really nice and we liked that there was a doorman there 24/7. All of the doormen were super friendly and we felt really safe there as 2 women travellers. The door also locked really well with a deadlock. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at Bem Ipanema. Marcella's place is super well located, only a few minutes walking from the beach (Posto 10) and close to supermarkets, drugstores, bakeries, restaurants, and shops in the very lively Ipanema. You're in the best place to stay in Rio and close to everything you might need during that stay. The apartment is super well equipped and has everything you need likewise. It was also spotlessly clean! Communication with Marcella was great before, during, and after our stay. Check-in and Check-out were super easy and smooth. Marcella was always very in responsive and approachable. Kudos also to the staff of building. Super nice and helpful Guys! Definitely a 10/10 experience. Would 100% stay at Bem Ipanema again.

“Great option for a beach holiday in Rio”

The location was excellent. Very close to the beach and in a safe area with many shops and cafes. The metro is also in easy walking distance. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, and the Marcella and her son were very hospitable and helpful.

The reception by Marcella and Bruno was very friendly, we felt at home straight away. The apartment is good in size and decorated in a loving way. Location is perfect in the middle of Ipanema life, with supermarket next door. All is very clean, and there is a doorman downstairs. We will surely return when back in Rio! ❤️

Marcella and Bruno are very kind and helpful. The apartment was top clean and equipped very well. There was nothing we we're missing. The place makes a safe impression. There is a receptionist downstairs, 24 hours, 7 days a week. The apartment doesn't offer any spectacular views as the windows are facing the yard, but you can sleep well. The place is absolutely quiet. And that's important value after a busy day. Because don't forget, Ipanema lives intensively day and night.

Marcella was so welcoming and friendly. The apartment is in a fantastic location which has nice shops/restaurants and is very safe.

The apartment is well equipped and comfortable for a beach holiday. We were very welcomed by Marcella and her son, and they left everything we needed. Location is perfect. Walkable distance to the Lagoa, to the Ipanema beach, and Shopping Leblon.

The apartment was perfect and safe with a 24 hour doorman. Equipped with A/C, snacks, coffee, water and super clean and comfortable. Located in the heart of Ipanema surrounded by shops, restaurants and two blocks from the beach. I highly recommend Marcella's apartment and will book this place again in the future!

A true gem in the heart of Ipanema/Leblon. Beautifully appointed flat, clean, well equipped and with great owners Marcella and Bruno. Highly recommended!

Marcella is the most lovely host. We were welcomed in a very warm manner and felt like home immediately. The Flat itself has everything you wish for, is super cozy and clean, plus the location in the heart of Ipanema is perfect for exploring the city or just going to the beach. Highly recommend!
