“Great family hotel between Rimini and Riccione”

We had such a great time at this hotel. I'd read in some reviews that the decor was dated and I suppose in places it was but it was so clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful - particularly the bar staff, and I think looking at the other hotels along the strip - it stood out as charming and well kept. The pool was the main highlight for us, there was always a great atmosphere and whilst it wasn't heated, it was not unpleasant - a great way to cool off on a hot day - my kids were in there for hours. We appreciated that we had a sea view and we were amazed at how well the patio doors blocked out any noise from others on their balconies. The bedroom was spacious enough for 4 of us, the main bed was very large and the bunk beds were great for our 4 and 6 year old. Breakfast had a good selection and we got a table right away - we liked the fresh omelette and pancake station. The location of the hotel was excellent - less than 10 mins to the metromare, fiabilandia (though we didn't visit) and there were buses going past the front of the hotel regularly. There were some lovely restaurants across the road and a gelateria directly opposite. Access to the beach was quick and easy - we paid 20 euros for 2 sunbeds and a parasol for the day - 1 row from the front and right next to the beach bar. If we came back to Rimini we'd definitely choose to stay here again.

“We enjoyed our stay”

I travelled with my family and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach was near the hotel (less than 5 minutes away), and for us there were 2 options for using the beach - free (just get your beach towels and lie near the sea) and paid (you can order sun loungers and an umbrella). The sea was warm and very suitable for swimming for our kid. You can find numerous restaurants and other shops around the hotel. Stuff was friendly. Breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and silent (closed thick windows did not let sounds outside come inside), even though there is a seafront near the hotel. And of course sea view was very nice, you can enjoy the view just sitting on the balcony.

The pool was amazing and the room was a decent size with a balcony. The breakfast was amazing! The staff is so kind and friendly and provides a very very good service.

“Close to the beach, nice swimming pool”

Very nice swimming pool outdoor, air conditioning that works, room cleaning was very good (every day), directly at the beach, free parking close to the hotel. However there was no empty spots available at the parking so we were offered another free parking that was 6 minutes away from hotel - almost no place to park close to hotel and streets are narrow and crowded with cars.

Hotel is very close to the beach, view to the sea is beautiful. I appreciate parking place and also swimming pool. Breakfast was fantastic as well as personnel. If I visit Rimini in the future, I will accommodate again in Hotel de France.

“Outdated, overpriced, acceptable”

I like how the breakfast is organized, pretty sure it helps to reduce waste and keep people in check how much they eat. I would still prefer to have coffee/tea/milk in free access just like other drinks, instead of waiting for a waitress to bring it every time.

“Awesome Hotel!”

We had a wonderful week at Hotel de France! First of all, all the staff was amazingly welcoming and made our stay excellent. From reception to breakfast and bar to the cleaning ladies, the staff was all smiles, spoke english and was supportive allover. Grab your afternoon aperol at the bar and enjoy it at the pool if it's a cloudy day. The Location was also perfect, right at the beach and 1minute to Ristorante Lo Zodiaco (go there!). Make sure to book the Beachservice (2chairs, 1umbrella and towel as a present for only EUR13.-!) Breakfast was excellent too, all you would expect. The rooms have roller shutters instead of curtains so it was always quiet and total dark which we loved! We'll be back! Free parking included, either at the Hotel or at a huge parking spot, 5mins walking distance.
