“A refreshing mini-vacation in Stockholm and Uppland Counties”
Really beautiful area and a magnificent castle/manor. Spacious, bright and peaceful room. Free car parking. Varied breakfast and a wonderful dinner in a beautiful restaurant hall. Friendly staff. Overall good value for money. Convenient distance from Kapellskär harbor and to Uppsala and Stockholm.We will definitely book accommodation again.

“Pet friendly hotel in nice surroundings”
Johannesbergs Slott is very nice historical place. We are travelled out of season, so it was very quiet. Pet friendly hotel and with surroundings for the dog walking. Dinner and breakfast was very good.

“Safety hazard DO NOT VISIT!”
Due to a malfunctioning keycard, I was locked out of my room for several hours during the night, wearing only light clothing and with wet hair, while pregnant, in cold weather conditions. I made 28 unanswered calls to hotels emergency number. Reception or emergency contact line was completely unreachable throughout the incident. Main house was closed! Restaurant was supposed to be open at that time but they closed earlier causing me to get absolutely no help. this is a severe breach of their duty of care towards guests, which placed my health and safety at risk! To this day I have not get any response from the hotel! Nobody has taken responsibility of this incident! Even booking.com hasn't responded to my complaints.
