Overview
With a tradition dating back to the 1876, this completely refurbished four-star Grand Hotel Bonavia enjoys a central location in Rijeka just a few steps from the sea and the vivid Corso Promenade. It offers elegantly furnished interiors with free WiFi and air conditioning. The hotel also comprises a Fine Dining Restaurant Kamov, Caffe Dante and the Fitness & Wellness Centre 3 of Life. All rooms and suits have a telephone, an LCD TV with programs in four languages, safe and a minibar. The bathroom with shower or a bath tub include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Room service, ironing service and dry cleaning are provided as well. Guests can use the Fitness centre and the Relaxation Zone with saunas free of charge. The conference centre offers an ideal place for the organisation of events of up to 230 participants in three multi-purpose conference rooms. “Central Location and a Solid Breakfast. OK one night stay.”
The hotel has a very central location, which makes it convenient for exploring Rijeka on foot. The breakfast was also decent, but not more than that.

It would be nice if you could order coffee during breakfast (the options are filter coffee and machine made, but the latter doesn't seem to be a true espresso machine). Apart from that, which is subjective, Grand Hotel Bonavia is truly excellent.

“Top place to stay in Rijeka.”
The central location and the availability for parking is the best! The room was super clean, the restaurant we used for breakfast only. Walking distance from the harbour, the center, all the bars and restaurants around are making the atmosphere amazing. Do not hesitate to pay the fee for the parking. The spots are infront of the hotel and its convenient to leave the car there. Pervefct service, very very kingd concierge and reception staff. Just 10 km away from beautiful Opatia, the lady at the reception directed us how to get there for a nice walk by the sea.

Staff were amazing, really helpful and happy to go the extra mile. There were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, including shower caps (yay!) The breakfast choice was huge and everything I tried, was well cooked and delicious.

The location was amazing, the room really nice and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of parking, but that's normal when you're in the city centre.
