Phil was extremely accommodating with the check in and check out. Thank goodness for the inside fireplace because without that, we would've had a different unpleasant experience because of the cold temperatures. Lovely views and wonderful setup at the country living. We brought our own Tv and extension leads so that we could watch a big screen tv at the fireplace. We noticed the Tv's were fixed to the wall and small - on the pics provided. The accommodation have Tv's but it's quite small relative to the room space. Watching Sport games on a 32 inch 8m away won't be fun -. With that being said - If we didn't bring our tv, we would've have been blessed with the facility provided :) Loved the outside braai area setup with an option to braai inside too. Kitchen was amazing and fully equipped with everything one needs. Appreciated the dishwasher :) Wonderful stay and we look forward to our next blessing atvthe country living.

Spacious and private, the pool was lovely in the heat although it could have been cleaner. Wifi was good.

The house is very spacious and has a great pool with a beautiful view over a dam. The kitchen has every appliance you can think of and appeared well equipped (even though we didn't cook there). The pool and the aircon in the one bedroom and fans in the other bedrooms were a blessing in the heat. The bedding is exquisite, the WiFi worked the house was clean and our host Phil was very friendly and helpful. The house is located at the edge of Riebeek Kasteel, a 2 min drive from the shops and restaurants.

View from the pool was great and it was close to town so one could walk around on foot.

We loved the house, and the main attraction is the outside area with pool, braai, and seating area. The views across the dam to the distant mountains and the birdlife make it a very calm and relaxing place. The master bedroom with full ensuite is downstairs, and 2 bedrooms with another full bathroom are upstairs. Also upstairs is a seating area with TV. The house is very spacious, modern, and minimalist. We had a great time and would go back if in the area.

We loved everything about this Country Living the photos does not do the place justice... There is 2 full bathrooms and one downstairs very convenient toilet and not mentioned or I missed it, the atmosphere is tranquil ag it's just beautiful.... everything is there we needed stayed for a week, we got complementary wood, charcoal, blitz, soap and many more little things... Honestly this place was/is really underrated according to the reviews I read before booking....PS. please when u stay do not damage the facilities, take care and njoy it.... as I am coming back

“Relaxing spot on a lake”

Beautiful pool and great flow out onto the outdoor area and lake. Very spacious. We spent a lot of time outdoors. The house had a fantastic mirror in the main bedroom
