An absolute gem in Riebeek Kasteel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful, spacious, tastefully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. The entire house is a true work of art, decorated with the most extraordinary and eclectic collection of pieces that make every corner feel special. Nothing feels overdone; everything just works perfectly, creating a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere. But what truly stole the show was the breakfast prepared by Antonio. It was an experience in itself. Thoughtful, delicious, and presented with such care and passion. It’s easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve had at any guesthouse or hotel. We will definitely be booking 1 Royal Street again. If you’re looking for a special stay, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was a real treat! The table was set to perfection and each day we noted a small decoration variation..lovely! The meal was prepared by Antonio himself.... the freshly baked homemade croissants were memorable ..served with a platter of meats and beautiful cheeses and homemade preserves. Followed by freshly cut fruit, yoghurt and homemade muesli. ...to complete the meal..a banana crepe! Always served on beautiful tableware..

Antonio is a great host. He loves decorating and maintaining his house. The 3 courses breakfast was a delight for both stomach and the eyes.

Beautiful guesthouse with very nicely decorated rooms filled with art. The garden with a swimming pool is beautifully landscaped and wonderfully peaceful. The staff is very hospitable and helpful, and the breakfast is simply fantastic.

There are so many things to like. The rooms are so comfortable, especially the bed, very important. The location is excellent and Antonio, Bartholomew & Ashley are fantastic friendly hosts. The best thing about the guest house is that the rooms are separate from the house so once the room is cleaned, which is done so quickly you hardly notice, the room is yours and it feels like your own home. The breakfast are amazing.

The decor was gorgeous! Attention to detail was there. Overall I would highly recommend people to stay there. Antonio was very nice and helped with our luggage and made the check in super quick!
