“Terrific stay—great owners.”

Pool, breakfast. The owners gave employment to somewhat not ideal workers. There was an elderly man who had a bit of trouble walking, but he was excellent at keeping the breakfast material supplied and cooking fresh eggs. There was an overnight manager who brought her young daughter in and the daughter was able to sleep the night near her in a crib. Some employers may look askance at such workers and not give them the opportunity to shine.

The hotel staff was very friendly and highly professional. We got specially good service by the lady at the reception desk (Debbie) when we arrived to the hotel. Great thanks for her!

The staff we encountered were exceptional. Specifically, Debbie at the front desk was very friendly and thorough with each customer checking in ahead of us and with us. Richard in the breakfast room was such a happy guy and so helpful. He really made our day! He literally offered to make us fried eggs, what hotel gives such personal attention? The stay was a great all around value including comfort, cleanliness, and great people.

The gentleman attending the breakfast rm was wonderful! As soon as we walked in he asked us how we wanted our eggs cooked! Great guy!

The gentleman that served breakfast(Richard) was awesome! He was very attentive to all guest and made each of us feel important! He is definitely an asset to your hotel. The staff was friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little outdated. My family and I stayed here about 3 years ago. We had a very bad experience and I refuse to come back. After reading some of you recent reviews I decided to give you another chance and I am glad I did. We visit Richmond about 2 times a year and will be staying here again.

Staff the other morning at reception and at breakfast was super nice! Although we missed breakfast they gave us muffins and some frootloops and juice for our little son before we hit the road again. They were so lovely!!
