“The perfect way to start and end a family vacation!”
Four adults traveling from different three cities on both the East and West Coasts of the US and all heading to Whistler. This hotel was in precisely the right location, IN VANCOUVER AIRPORT, to enable us to fly in on different airlines and different schedules, gather together, collect ourselves, and get a decent rest before heading into the mountains. I wish every airport hotel in the world was like this one!

Our room was left open by the housekeeping and all our food was taken away that we ordered & when we actually did go to the staff of the hotel they tried to address the issue and waived off the food bill but said couldn't help us more than what they actually did as they couldn't offer anything better because the booking was done through booking.com and not directly through their website. Our room was left open with all our valuables inside and when we came back we saw the door open with all our food taken away. Wasn't a safe experience for me considering I was staying at the Fairmont gold.

“exceptional airport stay”
access to lounge w/ great food and beverage options. view of the tarmac was special. comfortable bed and facilities, the most modern and best part of the entire airport. great stay for location, convenience etc. stayed in the gold access rooms and had personalised le labo bath products. very helpful staff

Beautiful breakfast with plenty of options, hotel room was luxurious and spacious (bonus having a jet stream bathtub!), all the facilities and amenities you can think of.

“Wonderful, peaceful and relaxing”
We had a medical incident at the airport and had to stay longer at the airport than anticipated. The Fairmont had one room available and Hannah arranged for us to check in earlier than normal. The staff were so helpful, professional and friendly they made a difficult situation less stressful and more tolerable. We really appreciate their thoughtfulness and being able to accommodate us at such short notice.

Although most of the staff and stay exceptional I was discrinwted against as a Muslim woman. I wound not recommend that Muslim women who are strong stay there. I spoke with staff about the issue and a slight compromise was reached.
