“Perfect for a family stay! Excellent location for a trip to Vall de Nuria resort”

The apartment had everything for a family trip with little kids. There was free parking which is rare in little towns like this. The location was perfect as it was right next to the zipper train we needed to take us to Vall de Nuria ski resort in the mountains. Also it was within walking distance to the town centre we found playgrounds for the kids to burn some energy, also good restaurants and an amazing Honey shop for honey lovers. Kids also loved playing with the 2 chicken running free in the back garden. There is a bakery and a supermarket in the same building which is another bonus, should you need anything extra. Highly recommended!

“Quick visit to Ribes de Freser”

The location was excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The apartment was really nice and the garden at the back was beautiful, next to the river.

A spacious apartment in a quiet part of town, close to the railway station and the rack railway, with a supermarket, baker and bar/restaurant all within a few minutes walk. Also, access to a lovely garden by the river, which was a real bonus.

The place was very good in terms of location and facilities. It's just beside the train station with a bar and supermarket very close by. The owner was super helpful. On the way to go there, one of our bags was stolen from the train which has my phone charger. It was a Sunday and we couldn't find any shop to buy a charger. He arranged the charger and asked to keep it with us during the whole stay.

We loved our stay at CanGusi! We look forward to going again. The host Xavi was helpful and kind. It’s extremely close to the cremallera station. It has a lovely outdoor property that is ideal for barbecuing and for children to play.

“A fresh stay with a lovely garden”

Large apartment with two bedrooms with comfy beds and a nice view on the garden and the woods. At night, even in summer, it gets quite fresh. The kitchen is well equipped. The garden is fantastic if you have kids or you just want to read a book. The barbecue area is well organized too. The location is nice, next to the train station, a lovely bakery and a supermarket.

Well located and very spacious apartment, with a large garden to play, sit and enjoy the view. Despite the rainy and chilly weather, the apartment could be quickly heated & our clothes dried. Supermarket and cheese shop next door (also a bakery, but it was closed for the holidays) and within walking distance of the centre of Ribes. Of course the train station (Cercanies & the rack railway to Nuria) is only a stone's throw away. David welcomed us with good advice, a great host!

“Best stay!”

A wonderful surprise! A clean apartment, with an amazing backyard, just across the street from cremallera Ribes de Fraser. We booked it for the proximity to cremallera but were really impressed with the apartment! The host is most friendly and joyful person. There are 2 free parkings near the apartment, as well as a supermarket, a bakery (ask for magdalenas!) and a traditional products store. City center walking distance and very enjoyable. We’ll surely come back! ❤️

Beautiful apartment with lovely garden in a fantastic location, next to bakery, supermarket and train station. David was very patient and answered all of our questions. Would definitely stay there again. Free parking next to the apartment.

It was value for money. Very spacious and has all the kitchen and laundry facilities we needed. We travelled by train and the place was super accessible. There was a trampoline in the garden which my kids spent hours playing with. The grocery store next door was very big and had everything we needed.

It is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling trips. A short distance from the apartment is the train station that goes to the Nuria valley. Even though the house is on a busy street, the apartment is quiet and we slept like a log. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and fully equipped. We would love to come back here again sometime.

Beautiful modern apartment with everything you need to feel like you are in your own home. Great heating throughout and walk in shower with good pressure and hot water (apartment 4B ground floor) A cute terrace off the main bedroom and lovely garden below with chickens and a super friendly cat. The owner David and his mum are lovely people and I would not hesitate to stay there again. It's perfect for the cremallera rack railway up into the Vall de Nuria and beside a very good supermarket and bakery too. If in town try the Frankfurt Ribes bar for food especially in the evenings in winter as not much else seems to serve food and the owners are delightful young friendly people. Good WiFi too and access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. Ample parking to the side of the property. Just book. You won't be disappointed

“A spacious, comfortable apartement in an excellent location with great transport links”

Excellent location, two minutes from the R3 train, surrounded by beautiful scenery/walks/cycle rides next door to a wellstocked supermarket, and less than 10mins stroll away from the town centre. Very spacious apartment, with a lovely balcony and access to a peaceful shady garden. David was a superb host, providing extras (including a kettle!) without us having to ask for them.
