“Large, peaceful house to relax in with super friendly hosts”
This is a beautiful house in a beautiful and quiet location part way up a hill which was full of wildflowers and birds, when we visited, and has stunning views of the sea. The house is large and has a large outdoor space perfect for breakfast, relaxing and dinner. Sunsets from the terrace are fantastic. We spent week here with a car and relaxed. We were sad to leave. Paolo, Francesca and family and welcoming, friendly and thoughtful hosts. Meeting them and receiving such a warm Sicilian welcome was very special. The road is mostly unmade but in good condition so a straight forward drive. It is easy reach of the main road, the 115, Secce Grande, Ribera for supermarkets and Ereclae Minoa, and a short drive to the Valley of the Temples. The nearest beach is a short walk.

“Pleasant experience in a beautiful part of Sicily”
We enjoyed our time in this part of Sicily, in no small part due to the wonderful hosts, Paolo and Franca, who did their best to accomodate us. What we liked and appreciated the most: - the beautiful terrace where we could relax on the swingset while enjoying the sea breeze or share a pizza in the evening while taking in the beautiful view - the view -the washing machine and outdoor shower - the location: while the road from the village to the house can seem a bit rough at first, the location of the house is really good, because 1. you are still close to the village - bars, restaurants, beach, but you have complete quietness and serenity at night 2. it's a good location to explore the entire region (Agriggento is about 30-40 min away, but you can also go inland up the hill or visit other beautiful beaches in the area) 3. SeccaGrande is a nice place with a nice beach, a few good options for eating out, and in the evening it gets annimated in a very family-friendly way. You can always find parking even in the evening (we were there in the beg of July). It's also far away from the airports so that it's not too overcrowded with tourists.

“Lovely stay”
Paolo and Franca are exceptional hosts, always with a smile The house was spotless clean and well equipped with all the necessary The location is stunning if you like peace and quiet with lovely views There is a huge shaded patio area for Al fresco dining and BBQ Very practical the external shower when you get home from the beach
