Staff were nice and, though relatively basic, the rooms were large and the bathroom too. No AC but I was happy with the fan. It’s not in Ribeira Grande but a little village called Coculi so a taxi/aluguer is needed to get to the hotel and it’s about a 15/20 minute walk from the main part of Coculi (which is where the aluguer will drop you off but expect a taxi can take you right to the entrance).

Perfect place if you want to visit the nature of Santo Antão, as you’re right in the middle of a beautiful valley with hikes right outside the door and easy transportation to the towns and other hikes. The facilities are perfect and it’s very clean and comfortable.

It was quiet (because empty) and the surroundings are beautiful. The rooms are very simple but very clean.

Great location in the midst of greenery and mountains, good local food options, nice terrace that invites for spending calm evenings after long hikes

“Beautiful place with amazing views”
Extremely friendly staff that was always available to help in anything I needed. The location was not the easiest to get to with public transport but the views from there were incredible. Breakfast was amazing!! Fully recommend it.
