Overview
The Hostal El Pinar in North Galicia has rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma-screen TVs. It is next to the A-8 motorway, 1 km from the town of Ribadeo, and 1 km from the beach. All of the rooms have private bathrooms and heating. Some rooms have bare brick walls and views of the gardens. The As Catedrais blue-flag beach, declared an area of natural interest, is just a few minutes’ drive away. The border with Asturias is just 2 km away.

“Good value”
I stayed here with my dog, first for a period in March then for another period in April. Clean and comfortable, plenty of private parking on site. The staff is good but limited English spoken. Located only a few km from town and from the beaches. Very good 'roadhouse restaurant' straight across the road.

Amazing room, very cosy and clean. They let me use their washing machine for free and was kind to me throughout my stay. It felt like I was visitimg family. Nice restaurant literally across the road

Very nice, spacious and clean apartment. Owner was super sweet. We checked in a bit late in night with the kids and all went well. Nice small playground outside. Comfortable beds.

“It was really nice and clean, but just a little loud because of the location next to the street.”
We came by car and there were spots for parking in front of each building. The apartment was super clean and really nicely equipped except for maybe some minor things missing for cooking (like a good knife or cutting board etc). The lady at the front desk was really nice too and everything went down nicely. We only stayed for one night though.

“Highly recommend - great stay!!”
Upon arrival we were promptly checked into our room and were given an upgrade to a large double room with a sofa. It was spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable. Our room was beautiful! The gardens were well kept. Free private parking on site and free WiFi with good range. The restaurant across the road was great - fab staff and food! Would highly recommend and would definitely come back. Fantastic value for money too! We had an issue with our Aircon unit but it was dealt with promptly and we were given additional heaters for our room. Friendly and professional staff made us feel very welcome. Mini fridge in the room was a nice touch. The heater in the bathroom was highly appreciated, as it was quite cold. Great location if you have a car and can get about as everything you need is within a 5-10 min drive away. Overall, very good stay!! Thank you!
