I came there for the restaurant. The accommodation was secondary. I had a great dinner. It is cosy and delicious.

Although the room wasn't large, it was adequate for us. The beds were comfy. There were 2 chairs. The hotel has been run by the same family for 6 generations, so it's old, but definitely not run down. It's been looked after and is very quaint. There is a restaurant on site. There was plenty of off street parking. It's in a lovely small village, not far from Rheine.

Friendly and good Humoured People Food was Fantastic best Steak that i have had for long time breakfast also good and simple.

We have stayed here several times an have always received a warm welcome from staff and the family who own the hotel. Excellent food served in the restaurant cooked by an excellent chef who is the son of the owner, as I said a family business which has been so for several generations. If you stay here ask about the history.

Very nice old-fashioned traditional hotel and restaurant. Rooms are very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Very delicious local cousine in the restaurant. Very pleasant hosts, running this place as a family business for many years. Free parking included.

The property has had a great history/ character and was very cosy and themic with a excellent bar and restaurant. The evening meal was excellent.

The Hotel is outdated, the room was clean. You could hear the noise from below (Friday evening: restaurant). Neighborhood is fine, but you need a car. The staff was very busy during checkin, but it worked.

“One of Rheine’s best kept secrets”

This charming, family run restaurant and guest house was a perfect place to stop on our drive between Berlin and the UK. It’s one of those rare places where the owners take true pride and passion in their work. The food was exceptional and despite their being limited vegetarian options on the menu the chef was happy to improvise and cooked us a delicious Italian pasta dish. Breakfast was also of a much higher standard than usual. Fresh fruits served with a delicious homemade whipped cream with a hint of vanilla, fresh, warm brotchen, cheeses and fresh coffee. The rooms, with their traditional classic decor, were quiet and comfortable and the cleanliness and hygiene standards were excellent.

The breakfast was very good, served at the table. One of us had requested gluten free bread and I got 3 freshly baked rolls. We had an excellent dinner the night before, cooked by the owner.

“Suprised & familier !”

We stayed with 5 persons in 3 rooms. It was better than expected. I do think that the pictures in the Booking-map are very old. The owners are very helpfull and they can cook ! ! We had the "suprise menu", and it was an excellent choice. Parking under your window.

The WiFi signal is very weak.
