“This was a fantastic memorable stay; what a beautiful home!”
We have had the most wonderful 4 nights at this property. It’s is absolutely beautiful, warm and comfortable ; completely as shown in the photographs. Returning to the house was a pleasure each day, as it was always warm and cosy. The boot room was perfect for wet coats and shoes! We all slept well ; a very quiet suburban neighbourhood, a few minutes from the seafront and about 15 minutes walk into Reykjavik centre. We never needed to catch buses, but we did see them passing the end of the road. Also very convenient for a superbly well stocked grocery store/supermarket/delicatessen called Melabudin. We bought rotisserie chicken one night and cooked in the very well equipped kitchen . Opposite the grocery is an amazing bakery called Braud&Co, and next door a wonderful cafe ‘Kaffihus Vesturbaejar’. The local outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs are also behind the supermarket! All this about 5 minutes from the property. Entry was via keys in a lockbox, and email communication with the owner/property manager was responsive. They sent us a welcome message on our first night to check we had got in ok and to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Overall a completely fantastic stay in wonderful Iceland.

Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable. excellent host who checked we had everything we needed. HUGE house for 5 adults. Best equipped I have ever stayed in. Recommend!
