The hotel offers reasonably priced single rooms and is located quite centrally, which was exactly what I was looking for. Underground parking was available without additional charge.

Skuggi Hotel was down by the waterfront and not far from the heart of Reykjavik. Parking was plentiful and we left the car there as the area was very walkable. After a long overnight flight, we were greeted by very friendly staff. We explained we were a little early for check in but they accommodated us to get to our room to clean up and relax. We found the room extremely clean but a bit on the smaller side. The bathroom was clean with great water pressure, plenty of towels and hot water. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet from all hall or outside noise. We were on the ground floor and even with the window open, we found it to be quiet even from street noise.

Centrally located hotel close to bus stops and all Reykjavik attractions. The hotel has underground parking so it was a great bonus for us. The breakfast was delicious: in my opinion everyone was able to find something to eat, even a fusy eater. The staff were very attentive and polite.

Nice wooden floors in the rooms - great for wet snow boots. Good clean separate bathroom. Location was excellent - less than 10min walk to bus stop 12 where a lot of guided tours start. It's about 5mins walk down to the Foodhall, and 20m walk to the BSI bus terminal. Breakfast was good - no hot food selection but they made up for it with plenty of breads, salads, cereal to choose from. Staff were super friendly. Decent free WiFi. Good sound proofing - I didn't hear anything from outside

The location was fantastic as we had a lot of trips booked from Bus Stop 9. The continental breakfast was delicious and well stocked! The bed was super comfy, we could have just done with two pillows as opposed to one. The room was just as expected, simple but effective! The bathroom facilities were fine, the shower had good power!

The only good thing for this hotel is the location (near tour pick up bus station) and the garage car park.
