The size of the rooms and location just a few minutes to bars, restaurants and the main street.Arrived earlier than expected and an early check in was arranged for 45 euros.

Location was good, apartment was clean and spacious!

The apartment was very clean and new. All the electrical appliances worked. Huge TV in living room was nice. The furnishings were simple, tasteful and cohesive. The area was nice and quiet. P4 street side parking was available around the block 1 street away. This should be highlighted to guests. For parking nearer the apartment its P2 parking. My family booked the apartments with 2 toilets. It's really essential for 2 or more bedroom apartments.

The size and location were great. Good amenities in the house for a longer stay.

Modern and comfortable. Very clean. Lots of information sent beforehand. Not right in centre but was good for us as found low/no cost street parking nearby. But still just a short walk to centre and 30min walk to harbour. Very quiet. I would stay again if I go back to Reykjavik.

“Good base for day tours”

I booked this place for its location. It is only few steps away from Bus Stop 12 where you can take your coach for day tours. It was nice to have a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Luggage storage helped us after check out.

The apartment (one bedroom with balcony and sofa bed) was very clean, bright, spacious yet still cosy. It was well equipped with good cooking and dining facilities. The balcony was a great addition, although the weather was a bit too cold when we were there to enjoy it fully. Check-in was easy, and customer service, both before and throughout our stay, was spot on. The apartment location is excellent, only 5 minutes from the sea front and main shopping street. The Food Hall around the corner, which offers different styles of food and drink, is fantastic.

’m very disappointed with my experience at Sif Apartments and feel it’s important to warn other travellers before they consider booking. From the start, there were issues with the apartment not being properly prepared for the number of guests. We booked and paid for three people, yet on arrival there was no proper bed arranged for the third person. I raised this immediately, along with the lack of extra bedding and towels. Despite reporting the issue, it has still not been fully resolved. Although the beds were eventually separated, the sofa bed remains unmade and we are still missing bedding and towels for the third guest. This has caused ongoing inconvenience and frustration. What’s most disappointing is the complete lack of concern or compassion shown. Charging for three guests but failing to prepare the apartment accordingly is unacceptable, and there has been little effort to rectify the situation in a meaningful way. It feels like either the information is not being passed on properly, or the concerns simply aren’t being taken seriously. For the price and expectations, this level of service falls far short. I would strongly advise other travellers to think carefully before booking here, especially if you are staying as a group and expect basic arrangements to be in place. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend staying here.
