Overview
A 5-minute walk from the bustling Laugavegur, Planet Apartments is in the central 101 area of Reykjavik in the heart ofthe old harbour district. The apartments come with a balcony, free WiFi and private parking. Featuring a stylish and contemporary living area, the open-plan, self-catering Planet Apartments apartments have city and mountain views. A fully-equipped kitchen is also standard, and there is the option of allergy-free duvets. Each apartment has a furnished balcony as well as an indoor dining area, while restaurants and cafés are only a 5-minute walk away in the centre of the city. The centre also offers nightlife and cultural sites such as the Harpa Concert Hall just 15 minutes away on foot. Within half a kilometre, guests will find Parliament House, Hallgrímskirkja and Tjörnin Lake. There is also Sundhöllin indoor swimming pool just 850m away.

Everything - it was perfect on location and was really very clean. Great contact with owners including information on booking trips which we used for all of them. Stunning view and easy to access when we arrived. I would definitely recommend and stay there again, we had a great time!

The location was amazing, only a short walk to the centre. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. The main bed was huge and very comfy. Plenty of amenities, everything we needed. Having private underground parking and the elevator from parking basement, ground floor and apartment was a huge bonus, especially in the cold weather!

The apartment is in a very good location and benefits from underground private parking. The flat was warm and the beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and responded very quickly to our questions. We will definitely look to stay here again when we're back in Reykjavik.

“A stunning harbour-side apartment with unforgettable views, exceptional comfort, and the perfect fam”
We travelled as a family with our two children (aged 11 and 5), and this was honestly one of our best trips — made even more special by the exceptional accommodation at Planet Apartments. The views were absolutely outstanding, overlooking the harbour with the mountains and even Snæfellsjökull glacier visible on clear days. The apartment itself was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having a washer and dryer was invaluable after long sightseeing days, and the small convenience shop just around the corner, along with excellent restaurants right on the doorstep, made family travel effortless. The location was perfect: an easy and quick walk into the lively centre of Reykjavík, yet peaceful and residential when you returned in the evening despite being beside the harbour. The absolute highlight was when our children spotted the aurora from their beds overlooking the harbour — no standing outside in the cold late at night! We felt incredibly lucky to experience that moment together.

Location right on the harbour front and next to several dining options. Underground parking was a bonus. Very, very comfortable with excellent facilities and no expense spared.

Fantastic appartment, very conviniently located with a nice view over the port and bay. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to visit, with good off streat parking. well equiped kitchen for those looking to save on eating out.
