“Good value for the money and great breakfast.”

Comfortable quaint loft attic setting and fairly spacious for 4 pax. Good location within walking distance to main shopping district. Free parking available nearby on first come basis. Decent spread of breakfast choices.

“Overall good place to stay, but depends on the assigned building”
We stayed here twice during our trip, and the experience was a bit different each time. The location is definitely very convenient - within walking distance of the main church and Rainbow Street. There is also parking next to the building, which is free during evenings and weekends, although it can be difficult to find a spot. Self check-in was simple. The breakfast was quite good with various options. During our first stay, everything was great. We were placed in a nice building with a proper kitchen, plenty of equipment, and a comfortable bathroom. The overall atmosphere felt cozy, quiet and pleasant, and the room had a view on the church.

“Fabulous place”
Fantastic location. 5 minutes walk to one of the main streets. The room we had was great, we ended up with a private bathroom as no one was in the adjoining room! And full use of the kitchen which was really good as eating out in Iceland is ridiculously expensive so you can go to supermarket and buy stuff to make yourself! Breakfast was basic but the freshly baked bread was delicious! Check in was easy as we arrived late they gave us the key code and left keys out for us.

“Perfectt location, clean”
In a suowr expwiensive city this place is a great option, they şet us stay in the main aurora building, coöfortable beds, clean, adequate breakfast( cheese, bread, jam, boiled eggs,cereal, milk,yogurt, tea,coffee, spam l think some meat product) it is right next to the big church, we went to the meeting points for bus stop 8 in a few minutes, very close, and 10 minutes to the srop 6 for the aurora tour, 10 minutes to bsi bus station for airport shuttle, they let us leave our luggages after check out, we took it and drank tea, there is hot water tea and microwave in the kitchen all day long. No need to pay a fortune to hotels. Bathroom was very close and extremely clean. There was also water tap in the room.

The breakfast was lovely and a GREAT deal in reykjavik. Getting your days started with a hearty enough breakfast to save you a LOT of money in a place with really expensive dining. Location was awesome. It's expensive overall, but for Iceland prices it was quite reasonable. Check in was easy.

“Home Away From Home”
Our impressions of Guesthouse Aurora in Reykjavík, Iceland Guesthouse Aurora was cozy and warm, with a homely atmosphere. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty, and the location was convenient for exploring Reykjavík. We felt right at home, even so far from our usual surroundings.
