“Great place for a city break”
Lovely warm welcoming property. Stayed for just one night. Everything organic which I loved. Bed incredibly comfortable! Lovely coffee and the staff were super helpful. Very clean, and free parking outside.

Fabulous bed and bathroom. Very friendly staff. Very nice lounge and dining area. Nice breakfast but price high considering it offers nothing more than other hotels that include it in the price. We knew the price when we booked but assumed it would be more luxurious.

“Great comfy hotel with all you need”
Arrived at Hotel and provided with upgrade as well as a bottle of Prosecco for my hubby birthday. Hotel is a Great location, and very clean and comfy beds etc. hotel staff very nice and we ate at all the restaurants on their recommendations and every each lived up to expectations. Lots within walking distance from hotel restaurants supermarket 24 hour one brunch etc. also a bonus for us was free parking

“Excellent stay at Iceland…”
We had a wonderful three-night stay at Hotel Eyja Guldsmeden. The location is perfect—within easy reach of tour pickup points, public transport, and a nearby grocery store. The rooms are incredibly quiet thanks to excellent soundproofing and being tucked away from city traffic. Everything was spotless, and the staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended for a restful stay in Reykjavik!

Fantastic stay – Perfect base for tours! "We had a wonderful stay at Eyja Guldsmeden Hotel. For anyone planning to join local tours, the location is incredibly convenient as it is a standard pickup point, making our early mornings stress-free. The room environment was very cozy and comfortable. Most importantly, the bed was amazingly soft and provided a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Reykjavik!"

“Comfortable, cozy and perfect for our last night in Iceland.”
The rooms are beautiful and super clean. Even better than the pictures. The breakfast was not included in the price but was amazing and I recommend trying it!
