I stayed at this apartment in Reykjavik for nine days. While the property itself was acceptable, I must strongly warn future guests — particularly those travelling for professional, academic or reimbursable purposes — that the host completely refused to issue an official invoice, despite repeated requests through Booking and WhatsApp. The total amount I paid was close to €1,000. I clearly explained to the host that I needed the invoice to justify my stay to my school and the Erasmus+ programme. After numerous polite messages and even a final 48-hour notice, I received no response. This silence and refusal are unacceptable and unprofessional. As a result, I now face the real possibility of not being reimbursed for a significant expense. If you need a legal proof of your stay, I strongly urge you to avoid this accommodation unless Booking takes action and the host changes this practice. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I believe Booking should hold its hosts accountable for fulfilling such basic and essential obligations.

The location is great, the one bedroom apartment is perfect for single traveler or for a couple. It is cozy with the heated floors. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to prepare some easy meals. View to the harbor is beautiful. Old town is walking distance.

It was so nice and clean, and easy to get to from the airport by buses alone. I’d been on three flights and travelled for over 30 hours so the first thing I did was take a very hot shower. I was de stressed instantly.

Modern and very clean apartment with a fantastic view over the old harbor. All fotos correspond to reality. The apartment is equipped with all you might need for your stay including a washing machine. For the coffee machine (Nespresso capsules) there is no coffee provided, I think it's important to know this to be prepared ;) Friendly host and excellent trouble shooting when I had a problem with the check-in (I didn't receive the Email with the keybox code).
