Overview
Located 15 minutes’ drive from Gullfoss Waterfall, this property is 9 km from the town of Reykholt. It offers cottages each with shared hot tub, patio and BBQ facilities. A TV with DVD/CD player is provided in each living room at Eyjasol Cottages, as well as a kitchen with a cooker, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. All 2-bedroom cottages have a bathroom with shower. The children’s playground features a trampoline, slide and swing set. Free private parking is available at Eyjasol. Thingvellir National Park is 30 minutes’ drive away, while central Reykjavik is 98 km from the cottages. Area activities include hiking and salmon fishing.

“Great cost cottage in perfect location.”
Very nice cosy cottage. Had everything we needed. Very good location. The northern lights were visible near enough every day. Bed was very comfy also. And the hot tub was perfect for relaxing.

The location of the cottage was perfect, about a 90 minute drive from Reykjavik and nicely situated for activities such as geysers, waterfalls and seeing the northern lights. The cottage was clean and very warm, especially as we were there during a week of as low as -13. It was also great having a full kitchen, tv, outdoor grill and hot tub.

“All in all - absolutely recommend!”
Location is amazing, the owner is friendly. There is everything you need in the house. We also had a chance to observe aurora while sitting in jacuzzi, so just perfect to travel around & rest after:)

“Lovely cottage”
We were really satisfied with our stay at Eyjasol Cottages. The cabin has its own charm and is located in a great spot. We can definitely recommend this accommodation.

“Nice, quiet and "strategically located" place where you will find all you need for your stay.”
Absolutely great! Nice place -- even close to Geysir, quiet cottage, away from the road. Enough space around the cottage to feel great. The interior furnishings completely suitable even for a longer stay, simply -- everything you need. All clean and ready to use. Equipped and sufficiently furnished kitchen part. Jacuzzi on terrace (unfortunately we did not use it due to early departures and late arrivals, but next time...). Great communication with owners (late arrival due to two times(!) cancelled flight). I hope to stay here again in the future. :)

“Wonderful stay in a very complete cottage in a convenient location”
Beautiful central location for the golden circle activities around. There are 5 cottages around, which are well spaced out for privacy, but we were the only guests, which was a bit of a shame for my son, but is part of travelling in February. The house is very complete, well equipped kitchen and the jacuzzi with the Northern Lights overhead is unforgetable.

“Nice secluded cottage for those wanting to be near F35 (going through the interior).”
The cottage is quite secluded, it has a nice playground for the kids next to it. It is very wel furnished and the kitchen has a lot of basics included that cannot be found in many other cottages (herbs, salt etc.). It is clean and very comfortable and the hot pool is nice.

“Enjoyable stay at very good location”
Located close to four top attractions at the Golden Circle, country side, nature, jacuzzi and bbq facilities to have a good time in the evenings; the kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary, new and clean stuff to enjoy the stay. Modern and spacious living room and outside dining table for a small family to enjoy; Water heater with enough capacity for showers for a family; bed linen, towels, bathrobes, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were clean; nicely decorated. Recommended. Could stay again.

A very spacious apartment, 2 bedrooms and a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a huge garden and a river right next to it, there is a jacuzzi, highly recommended for everyone
