The location is gorgeous. Views are the same. You don’t even miss that there is no television, just look outside. From here you are pretty centrally located in the golden circle so everything is pretty close

“Cosy warm cabin with amazing views - just perfect”

Absolutely loved our stay here. Fabulous views, beautiful little cabin with great kitchen facilities, a nice bathroom and super comfy bed. Good wifi as well. It was very warm and cosy and the location was perfect for exploring the Golden Circle and the south of Iceland. Whilst we didn’t meet our hosts they responded quickly to emails via the Booking app and provided the key box code prior to our arrival. Loved it here and would definitely stay again.

The location is close to a lot of beautiful sights, the view over the surrounding landscape is spectacular and there is a small store in the town 3 minutes away by car. The accommodation is well equipped and beautifully furnished as well as clean. Only met the host briefly but he was very friendly. 10/10 would book again.

The cottage house was really cozy, clean and the view was beautiful. The hosts were responsive and helpful. It was a pleasure to arrive here after a long and tiring day.

Modern and comfortable accomodation near Geysir and gulfoss with far reaching views of beautiful Icelandic countryside. Easy to find but off the beaten track. Nearby shop, restaurant and wine bar and a few geothermal baths close by.

We had a great stay. Cabin was quiet, clean and comfortable. If we come to Iceland again we will come back. Thanks very much.

“Great experience in a clean and modern cottage”

We liked the setting of the cottage with the landscape. The view was great and with nice weather we even sat on the terrace in the sun which made it even better! (A bbq or fire pit could be a fun addition). The bed was super comfortable. We liked the bathroom with its big shower. The place easily heats up with heated floor which gives you a warm welcome after a day of sightseeing.

“Top”

Absolutely top location. Very nicely furnished cottage. Rather spacious by Icelandic standards. We felt very comfortable here. The kitchen is super minimally equipped, really only 2 pieces of cutlery, plates etc. It's not a problem, but at least slightly larger deep plates (for soup) and large mugs (for tea or hot chocolate) would be a good addition.
