Comfortable beds, incredible view from window and balcony, fridge available. Great for a 1 night stay perhaps even a weekend. The ghost town next door is really interesting! I recommend it for any history lovers. Be sure to tell the staff there that you’re staying at the chateau because you’ll get 50% off. I didn’t know this and went there first but the lady in the hotel very kindly refunded us. The staff were all very polite.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! There was so much to see and do and the ghost town was much more of an immersive museum than expected. My kids also loved the sand pit area and the ship playground as well as the train ride! The rooms and building itself were clean and comfortable. The rooms were a good size and the view was spectacular! We will definitely be making our way back for another trip soon. The staff were all very friendly and polite. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a family trip to remember!

I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony attached to our room. You get such a beautiful view of the lake. I also had so much fun venturing through time exploring the museum on site. Would definitely stay here again!

We were a little confused with the cafeteria didn't know were to go and how to get things that weren't out and was listed on the back bored but other then that good

Location is perfect. The kayak rental was great. The hotel is weird but in a good way. It was clean and it was what I expected it to be.

We absolutely love staying here, this is our 4 visit. We stay multiple nights as 1 night is never enough The staff are super friendly, the food is amazing and we love the Ghost Town.

We enjoyed our stay at this interesting location. The meals (dinner and breakfast) were very good. It was nice that we did not have to look for a restaurant as it was right there 🥰 .

Everything! Beautiful quirky, spacious, clean, good location, parking easy, lovely grounds, very well maintained, friendly staff AND the absolutely fantastic heritage ghost town - we spent 7.5 hours there and could've stayed even longer. What an amazing collection, great credit to the owners for preserving all this history for future generations to marvel over.

I loved the authentic wood and style for the forest earthy style. Comfy space. Decent amount of room.

What a great location for a resort, surrounded by beautiful scenery and such a great lake for swimming after a hot day. There were lots of hidden treasures both in the hotel itself and the ghost town.
