No staff seen in hostel at all from the moment we entered to the moment we left The front door of the hostel is left wide open at all times so anyone could enter... This felt incredibly unsafe The room was full of flies, I killed 6 flies before attempting to sleep Terrible terrible stay Do not stay here

I love the view from the mountains. I had the fortune the castle was illuminated so at night time was a spectacular sight!

Quiet neighborhood, nice views of the mountains. Comfortable bed. Self-check in. There is one restaurant nearby, 10 min. walk. More restaurants and stores are 3 km away.

“Unpretentious, cozy stay in Alps”
We spent in Hahnenkamm Hostel just one night and in off-season. Very quiet, cozy and clean hotel. Basic yet spacious room with balcony (great view!). Very charming was the sound of the cows bells as they grazed on the slope near hostel. In off-season might be challenging to find a place around where to eat. Speaking of nearby attractions - strongly recommend Highline179!

Check-in was seamless and efficient, with exceptionally friendly staff who made us feel instantly welcome. Even though the rooms were older, they were generously spacious, blissfully quiet, and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower was outstanding with good water pressure. Highly recommended!

“Fantastic!”
As soon as you step inside onto the luxurious carpeting you realize that the term "Hostel" does not do justice to this fantastic place. Wonderfully situated next to the ski lift/rental/school, we skied both in Begwelt Hahnenkamm and in the Zugspitz Arena (Erhwald/Berwang/Lermoos). We stayed at the Apartment ("Ferienwohnung") plus had one extra "normal" room for our group of five (incl. 3 college-aged kids). The apartment is spacious. Sylvie is an incredible hotel manager and check-in/out was super smooth. Sylvie also recommended a traditional Austrian family restaurant right down the road (500 meters), which we enjoyed. We look forward to going back!
