Overview
Gasthof Salzstadl offers modern rooms and apartments in the historic ambience of the medieval Ehrenberg Castle, right below highline179, the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge. The centre of Reutte is a 5-minute drive away, and Neuschwanstein Castle is only a 20-minute drive away. All rooms and apartments offer satellite TV and a bathroom. The apartments have a kitchen, and all rooms feature a balcony. Rooms and apartments are located in the Gasthof zur Klause, while some apartments can also be found in the historic barracks from the 1600s. The castle itself dates from the 13th century. The restaurant serves traditional Tyrolean cuisine. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The Zugspitz Arena Ski Area is a 15-minute drive away, and a cross-country ski run is right outside Ehrenberg Castle. The Aktiv Card is included in the rates and offers many benefits and discounts in the region.

Location is top for pass through direction Tirol. With the hanggliding pedastrian bridge and the old castle ruine actually worth a longer stay than just one night.

“Luxury pit stop with meh food and good break activities”
Very spacious room, clean, good fittings. Quiet, with ample parking. The hike paths, castle, and the high-line can fill an afternoon stop (but probably only interesting once). Depending on your schedule, the location may be perfect for an overnight stop.
