“Wonderful stay in a historic building.”

The property has so much character. It is really beautiful and in a wonderful location in the old town. The room size is fantastic, with a seperate sitting area to watch tv. The breakfast was lovely and a big thank you to Maria who made beautiful cakes every morning and was so welcoming. All the staff were lovely. We had dinner here one night in the laneway off the hotel and it was very good.

“A wonderful return to Veneto”

Delighted to return to the hotel (weekend of Rethymno carnival). We had requested the same room as we stayed in last year, 106, and the staff made sure we got it ❤️ lovely breakfast that is very affordable, hotel is bang in the center of the old town, very friendly staff. We love the historic look of the hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and really a vibe with cute, traditional wooden furniture. The two women I encountered on reception were really wonderful, so helpful and going above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. For example, I really appreciated the real coffee left in my room when I had early excursions to go to. The woman managing the breakfast buffet was also really nice. I never normally bother writing reviews, but the women on reception were so good at their jobs I felt I wanted to share a shout-out to them.

Location was perfect for exploring the old town but it was also good for the beach and near the bus station for exploring further.

Fantastic location in the Old Town. Room was very comfortable. Staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and the evening restaurant food was delicious.
