Everything was perfect. Even little things were there (olive oil, salt, pepper etc.). Owner was most friendly and helpful we ever seen. Spotless clean. Even milk foamer was there 🥳 My son accidently left his loved toy at appartment and owner went to bus station and sent it to us late in the evening.

Well located, close to the old town and Venetian Fort. Lovely view of the water and sunset. Staff were very helpful with questions and were quick to respond. The rooms were all equipped and clean.

The property is a 25 min walk from the beach , directly across the sea. The area is very clean and safe and the staff are so lovely and accommodating. The property is spacious, beautiful and clean.

It was a ground floor apartment (101) and quite spacious. We had a separate bedroom, a bathroom and a living room with the kitchen. We found the presence of a washing machine very pleasant. We used it and it worked properly. There was enough space in the bedroom for the suitcases (that's not always the case). There were also sockets at the bed. There was an air conditioner in the living room and in the bedroom. We only used the one in the bedroom during the night. This one also worked very well and was very quiet. We could park behind a fence on our own property. Really great! The old town is very easily accessible on foot. The distances are not very big. Sturdy and/or cushioning shoes are recommended.

That was the most friendly welcome we had for a long time. Very helpful with lots of useful advices. What lovely hosts!! The house is at the best spot of town: Quiet backside of Rethymno with a 5 minute access to the busy centre.

We had a lovely stay in a fabulous comfortable clean and modern apartment with good sea views. Everything was close by. Just a few minutes walk to the old town and a supermarket nearby.

Amazing clean Appartment, very comfy bed, super Close to the old town and very Kind Host. I forgot a Ring there and the Host graciously agreed to send it to me via Post. 100 % recommend and would stay there again :)

We were promised a sea view, but in the end, we got the ground-floor apartment, where not only did we not have a sea view, but pedestrians were walking right by. We chose this apartment specifically for the view, but we didn't get one. It was very disappointing and kind of a scam.

A wonderful surprise to find in Rethymno! A generously appointed suite, with new interior (incl. a kitchen!), and wonderful views of the seaside promenade and Mediterranean beyond. Adjacent to old town centre (3 minutes stroll) but away from the busyness of it all.

Everything was great. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The apartments are ideal for a family of 4, as there are 2 fully equipped bathrooms and comfortable large sofabed for the kids.

Absolutely loved our stay at Porta Squero! Spacious enough for my husband, me and our three children. Perfect location, we loved watching the sunset in front of us from our two balconies and being so close to all Rethymno’s Old Town and Port has to offer without the noise. Service was excellent, they were so attentive and caring. Our room was immaculately cleaned and restocked each day. Can’t wait to stay again!
